You can tell I'm bored tonight, starting this thread. Indiana shoots 26 percent from the field but shoots 33 of 39 from the free-throw line and beats Detroit 67-60. Looking at the Shock lineup is like looking at it the past few seasons. They need someone to emerge or they'll struggle to make the playoffs this season. Other teams are improving and the Shock seems to be standing still.

Bill Laimbeer is the coach and GM.

Has he gotten worse since Mahorn came on board?

Either way, I would rather see Bill in NY than in Det as a NBA coach.

Amen. The WNBA is a baby, the talent keeps evolving and changing every season. Bill needs to be fired, I don't think he really has an eye for talent among the ladies. Heck man every season there's a new star that emerges in the league, it's pretty cool actually. But Bill is clueless right now, just like the Sparks and The Comets, the Shock are now yesterday's news in that league.

Bill was lucky to get that first championship.

He concentrates on the Pistons woes too much and was probably upset when Flip got the call over him run Davisons "mens" team.

Swin has not been the same since that championship season, even though she is recovering from the knee injury. Both Riley and Ford are inconsistent with and they will always have to rely on Katie and Tweety keep them in game. Looks like the defense collapsed in the second half though of game 1.

Has anyone (besides me) seen the Shock's monthly calendar? We have the finest team in the WNBA!...Of course...BTW, they are 1-1 with a good win vs Lynx. They must impose their will and be a .750 team.

How does tweety look bro? She gets no play outside the WBNA season or out here anyway. I only see her on televised Shock games

Yes, oh yes...I LOVE that picture of Deanna!

The tattoos, the muscles, the way she flies through the air like a female Dr. J....what's not to LOVE about Deanna Nolan???

I have both the home and away Deanna jerseys and almost always wear one of them to the Shock games (I also have an away Cheryl Ford one).

Here's another pic of Deanna that i like...from the recent All Star Game.

Yes she is good. The tatoes do not really stick out, she is one of those females that it works on.

Cheryl Ford is having quite a year, almost 12 boards a game. Looks like Lamb really put them back in contention with the Katie Smith trade.

yeah, Cheryl is having a great season especially with the rebounds! her free throw shooting has gotten better, but still is not that great, kind of like Shaq or Wilt Chamberlain...two other great players who could not shoot FTs well.
