Thanks for the link gazoo. Listening to the Sactown coach is worse than Larry Brown. He doesn't sound too sure of himself. Or very disappointed..
Paraphrasing... Laimbeer: We knew we were a team that would win the championship or come real close, and it all came to FRUIT-TAY-SHUN.
I was there at The Joe, and have to say that this might just be the most fun I have ever had at an in-person sports event. I totally Deanna Nolan!!!! She was always my Most Valuable Player, and now She has the award to prove it! Sacramento's coach seems like kind of a weenie to me, but I guess he must be a good coach to get his team to the Finals and they won it all last year.
It is nice to have a winner in town. Lets try to respect them for their profession and not how they look. Can't forget about some of the other players who played well. Cheryl Ford is the all-time rebounding leader and Katie Smith is 4th all-time in total points scored. Both played well in the series. From the 2 games I saw Pierson seems to be comming on strong as well.
In addition to the change of address of the Palace, I have heard that there is quite a lot of significance in terms of the league, in this victory by the Shock. Congratulations, ladies. Job well done :winner_first_h4h: !!!
Anybody MAN enough to go to downtown D-town for the Shock celebration tomorrow. The City was in dire need of a champion and the Shock delivered. Agree that this team needs to be respected and saluted for what the accomplished.
Yall know I just love the lay-dees!!! I wish I could have been down there for the game. I would have been Cheryl's ride home...GO SHOCK!!
