Ok, hopefully this might apply to a few of you fellow Piston fans.

I have a Ben Wallace jersey circa 2004, road blue with name on the back. I haven't been wearing it as much lately since he left for the Bulls.

So I started thinking what I should do with it. Now that possible young gun Rodney Stuckey is taking over the Piston number 3 I have a couple of options.

    1. Take my jersey into a tailors and see if they can replace the letters 'Wallace' with the letters 'Stuckey', effectively recycling my old jersey. Happy days.

    2. Get my Ben jersey framed as a memory to the big fella, with some photos and stats, etc. Nice for the bar room wall. I have a Prince jersey so I still have another one to wear.

    3. Leave it as is.

Hopefully some of you guys can provide some input and help me come to a decision. And possibly this may also relate to some of you who are in the same position as me.

    Cheers.

Got to go with the bar room. The real question is if Stuckey goes on and has a sweet career, do they retire his number thus all together forgoing Bens career? I say if he would have stayed #3 would have been in the rafters, but now no way.

Sometimes you need to just move on. I'd keep it until it becomes in style again as a throwback jersey.

I'd go for #2, if I had a bar room. Gotta cherish the good times.

Go put in a box and place it in storage. When you want to be reminded of 2004, then pull it out..........But let the Pistons play at least 5 years without Ben before you do............

If you're looking to defend your land, you better go with the big ben jersey.

I wonder how many forum members here own a scarecrow.

I'm kinda ticked they gave him #3....for two reasons:

    1) Ben deserves better.

    and

    2) Stuckey idolizes Wade.

    Frame it.

I have still have a couple of Ben Bobble heads.

You don't want to deface the Jersey. I would put it away and treat it as sports memorabolia. Who knows how long he is going to play and if he has a chance at making the HOF. It could be worth something then.

I kept mine. I don't have a bar to hang it in, but if I did, I might go the framing it route. I also have the Detnews section from the day the Pistons drafted Prince, a Rodman jersey, and a few bobble heads from Burger King. (Prince and Hamilton) That's about it for sports memorabilia.

Big Ben is one of the greatest Pistons of all time. Gotta keep that jersey.

I don't have a lot of Pistons stuff, but I do have a 1988 Eastern Conference Champions collector's cup. I got it at the Silverdome during the Finals that year. The cup features a drawing of Zeke with a heavy wrap on his knee, going up for a scoop shot.

    1. First have it washed good!
    2. Then make sure there are no rips in it and if there are have them repaired.
    3. Have Big Ben autograph it
    4. Frame it
    5. Put it up for sale on E-Bay
    6. Take the money from the sale and give it part of it to Big Ben's favorite charity and use part of it to buy a Hot Rod shirt.

    :hoops:

Since I live in this crap country, I only could buy a Ben Jersey. So I did, and I watch every game in that. It's great for being a fan, front of the Tv:) Only the front matters anyway(pistons)
