What do you think? If you was Joe would you make this trade?

I don't see this happening. This deal would make our team worse. Chandler is injury prone and doesn't have an impact on the offensive side of the ball that Sheed does. Also remove Sheed and you no longer have a 3 point threat on this team.

I would LOVE to have Chandler.I always felt that the Bulls made a huge mistake trading him for PJ Brown and turned around and over pay an out-of-prime aging Ben Wallace.

However, a part of me is wondering how much of his play is because CP3? But if I were Joe I would pull the trigger if we were able to swing a deal for another big who can score because Chandler isn't much of a scoring threat. Also, his numbers Are down this year.

Another thing, Tayshawn and Tyson were HS teammates, how often does something like that occur?

I agree with Mr. Wonders. No way this deal is going to happen. Joe already knows that Tyson is injury prone and he can't bring anything that Sheed brings to this team. You are right Mack, the Bulls shouldn't got rid of him cause he fit in that offense but not here tho...sorry.

I don't think Sheed gets traded. Not for a Tyson Chandler.

If Tyson could stay healthy, this might be a good future move for the Pistons. Chandler can really pull down the boards, and like Ben Wallace, his defense makes guards reconsider driving the lane for the easy layup.

If he could just stay healthy....

I don't think Joe will waste the biggest opportunity for huge FA cash in probably the teams history for Tyson Chandler...Although I did witness a max contract for Keith Van Horn in my lifetime.

It all started getting out of control when that offer to Koncak was tendered.

No, but if that's an option, that's one of the better possibilities.

That I think is definately a one sided trade in favor of New Orleans. Sheed can in all reality get a double double every night imo. He is underated as a rebounder and is a threat low post and at the 3-point line. Chandler on the other hand is turning into a one trick pony. The only reason I could see this move would be if Joe was trying to free up some salary ( Lebron/Bosh trade maybe) and continue playing small man basketball...ie, Stuckey , A.I., and Rip getting the majority of the touches.

i have that SI issue and the article was all about salary cap issues and blah blah blah! so I wouldnt pay it no heed. As much as I hate Sheed , I love Sheed. We just have to deal with it. No other player like him in the league, he just HATES small ball, so we need to get a three head rotation featuring Sheed, Dyess and Amir...BUT One super ingredient:

How is Chris Kaman , Chris Wilcox or Emaka Okafor not HERE yet!!??

and with the way Toronto is playing...is a deal for Jermaine(36 pts the other night) too far fetched to help Sheed 25 minutes a night? Nah, too many Webber memories, huh?

Daddy Rich singlehandedly destroyed Atlanta for years by tendering that offer to Jon "the contract" Koncak.

As for Sheed, he's not going anywhere. Joe needs size, and Sheed is the only size we currently have. If anyone is traded before the deadline it's Rip.

Chandler is only good because of CP3. Sure Stuckey has the talent to somewhat be close to CP3, but Chandler isn't the future.

If anything trade Sheed for STAT/Amare. Resign him 2010 and get one of his buddies. Steve Nash cheap or something and C-Bosh.

If we are going to trade Sheed, it should be for Jefferson from Milwaukee. (Formerly with the Nets.) I believe the salaries match close enough. Next year is a player option for Jefferson.

You start AI, Tay, Jefferson, Amir, Kwame.

Bench: Stuckey, Rip, Afflalo, JMAX, Dyess.

This allows Milwaukee to go big, with a front line of Mboute (sp), Sheed, Bogut.

What does it do for us? We get bigger. Tay can abuse opposing shooting guards. We also have a pretty darn good running attack to start games.

I am not saying we should do this trade, but if we feel we have to trade Sheed instead of losing him, its at the small forward position we should shore up at.
