I agree that a Bench player or two would be nice.

The only thing I would add is that I really wouldn't advise doing the co-owner thing. It's generally just not necessary and you'll want the autonomy. You may miss out on picking up a "hot" (not that kind, Kim) free agent because you needed to wait for your co-owners approval.

Fantasy sports are very easy to learn. Honest. If you need help, most people will always give you advice.

I added two bench positions. As it stands now, you can carry two players who are not playing, and you can pick up 20 guys off the waiver wire for the season. Trades are unlimited.

I know a couple of the teams have never played before, and I'm thinking that the first week may be our pre-season, and will not count in the league standings. Any thoughts?

one word of advice if you haven't played before...the default list will probably draft better than you. Take it from me who picked Emeka Okafor in the first round (like 11th overall) or BBjay who nabbed Darko with the #2 overall pick...just weed out the injured guys.

again, if you have a question on ranking, you can pm Darth, jammer, motown, roscoe36 or me. roscoe and I are still in novice but if we wanted to stab you in the back to climb a notch in the standings, we'd play advanced:gun1:

Slippy, you had the hell of a team last year (except for the injuries) so why are you going to stick to the Novice League? Higher duties are waiting for you as well as for Roscoe!

Waiting being the key operative word in this instance.

    Besides...

The way the Novice league draft went, all you had to do to assemble a great team is leave it alone. Linwood had a great team too and he barely played. :pound:

The draft is set for Sunday, October 28th at 3:00pm EST. Can everyone make this day? Also, would the league be interested in moving the draft to next Sunday at 3:00 so we can start horse trading and trash talking sooner?

Either is fine. If next Sunday, please try not to go any later than 3:00 (EDT). Takes about an hour or so, right?

Question - Are fouls and techs going to be included in the scoring?

I'm o.k. either way - just want to make sure the master sprocket statistical drafting roster is properly weighted. Multi-dimensional scaling can be touchy about those negative categories and I have to make sure I'm handling them properly.

    No.

I see the trash talk has already started.

Does this mean that you are going to change the current stat categories in the league settings? This will affect draft rankings / strategy / etc, so it would be good to know the categories used. Thanks.

They should be changed now. Fouls and techs will not count.

I am considering leaving in the wildcard Flagrant Foul stat, as well as the Threatening the Families of the Referees stat.
