The "Decision" show is ridiculous and unprecedented. I'm glad some of the money is going to the Boys & Girls Club. I realize it's a smokescreen, but I don't care. Classy move to follow up an unclassy move of making a circus outta this.

    Surprised it's not a Pay-Per-View thing.

He is a joke. I don't see how anyone could like him. I'm officially a hater.

Anyone want to join me in the LBJHC?

Unbelievable. No one would do something like this other than him. And why do the networks feed into it so much.

I am thinking it is more of the media, specifically the NY media and ESPN that is blowing this out of proportion. Not only do we get the constant Lebron update scrollers on all of the ESPN networks, but ABC partner runs it on their GMA scrollers in the morning and the hosts from GMA, The Today Show, the Early Show and even Regis and Kelly mention it every morning....since they are all based in NYC.

Lebron just fell into the media blitz in junior high and just has not been able to escape it...its not his fault that everyone believes he is so good and the media believes everyone wants to be a part of his world....

It will be bad enough if he does go to NY, but even worst if he goes to Miami as they will automatically get coast to coast all year coverage....and the season will be a wash while everyone speculates from day one if the Heat and the Lakers finals will go 7 games and who will be the MVP, Lebron, Wade or Kobe...

he can't stay in Cleveland now that the Bosh-Wade have teamed up. Its either NY or Chi town...

I don't know. His attention from youth does have a precedence in other sports - Wayne Gretski for one.

He could have been more humble and simply announced his decision instead of saying when he would. Ideally I would not mind at all if he shocked the world and declared that he was joining some Euro league team oversees.

He knows what it is. Where he goes is going to change the landscape of the Eastern Conference. And he knows it.

I was initially put off by this announcement extravaganza (It was suggested last week by his people to the networks), but I must admit I am excited to see where he will be playing.

I just hope he leaves CLE. Those trolling yahoos deserve nothing better.

It'll be so funny when LeBron retires ringless because Wade and Bosh steamrolled him every single year in the playoffs during his prime.

I still think the best place for him to go is (1) Chi (2)NJN (3)NYK (4)Clips (5)Clev (6)Mia. If he cares about winning and the league he won't sign in Mia, the Wade/James rivalry is something that the league benefits from overall.

I agree that his best option at this point is to reunite with his old buddy Boozer in Chicago.

Jim Leyland on LeBron: 'I couldn't care less'

Tom Gage / The Detroit News

Detroit -- Where's LeBron going? Some care, some don't. Tigers' manager Jim Leyland isn't exactly on pins and needles about it. The big announcement is coming tonight. LeBron James[IMG] will inform the world of his signing decision in an hour-long special at 9 p.m. "I'm not interested in that at all," Leyland replied to the TV crew that asked. "I'm interested in where Shaq goes. I'm watching that very closely. "I hope he plays. I've heard nothing but great things about him. I'm a huge fan of his, pull for him all the time, and I'll be interested in seeing where he ends up." No gut feelings about LeBron? "I could (not) care less," Leyland said.

They say now he is leaning towards Miami. It will be a great team to hate. If he goes to New York, it will be Lebron 24/7. I hope he stays his ass in Cleveland.
