    Interesting, thanks for posting.

Thing is, couple of months ago that same writer would have written about how mature and everything Lebran is like everyone else used to. Not that I like LBJ and I am enjoying this but it's the in thing now to slam him.

The Olympic clash with Coach K was made somewhat public at the time. They also said how the coaches were disgusted with how poorly LeBron played without the ball in his hands.

Maybe LB was right for not playing him more in the '04 Olympics?

Everybody know LBJ can't play basketball without a basketball in his hand all the time, except himself.

First of all that was one of the longest articles I have read on this site and went over on the same subject just as ESPN did about Lebron decision which was three full days of prehype and then 2 more days of post decision garble.

I too was a little peeved about the coverage and agreed that ESPN should have taken as much of a hit as LBJ did about the production.

Media outlets such as ESPN and FOX News that report more opinions than (f)actual news are taking a hit this month. :stirthepot:

At the risk of getting political, it's the hip thing right now to bash FOX News, but truly all of the major US news organizations abandoned serious journalism quite some time ago.

At this point in time anybody that watches one network for there news.... is really not getting the full picture of any topic anymore. News is all but a lost thing in this day and age. When I want to know about a certain topic I watch 2 or 3 news shows, (one that would be considered "right" and one "left) and search for a few more sources online.

That in itself is sad because how many people will actually do the work to get heart of a topic? most just watch the same network day after day and take the stories at face value and believe them as such.

The fact that the news worries about ratings at all is counter productive...

Before this thread dies or gets hijacked, if you want real news, watch your local stations since they will tell you about every murder or traffic accident or weather issue within 50 miles of their tower. They now only give local sports teams results and ignore other teams unless there is a championship involved.

CNN, FOX and MSNBC mostly talk about political issues, wordly disasters, missing children and what celebrity needs to go to jail. ESPN covers championships, Red Sox, Yankees, Brett Favre and Lebron......

    :focus:

Charles Barkley made a great comment on PTI today regarding Lebron ....if you are the defending two time MVP, you don't pack your your bags and go find a team...you make other players come to play in your crib. That may have also been his way of throwing a low blow at his boy and T-mobile fav fiver Dwade...:sssh:

He says going to play with those guys is like cheating to get a ring..

Funny. Kerby is off-base as usual, trying to mock people who have turned on LeBron, as if His Highness is above getting what's coming to him for publicly showing up his entire fan base.
