Winning is certainly a good thing. The other night I finally got to see the Pistons vs. Bobcats game and it was a lot of fun. I was getting pretty demoralized with the standing around and jacking up 3's...if I wanted that I'd go to the rec...but that game I saw a lot of movement. We were attacking the basket. Cutting, swinging the ball to the open man. All that good stuff.

I really enjoy watching Prince in the open court. This is what makes defense and rebounding so important. Its about getting those opportunites.

On a side note, ChipsonPistons (M4Babbie) is at the top of novice league thanks to the stat stuffing play of the starting 5. Tay has become a top 50 player in yahoo leagues I think.

In the last week, Sheed has been the #2 player in Yahoo. I believe CB, Sheed and tay are all Top 25 or so over the last week. Of course, it does help they played so many games.

true and none of Sheed's numbers are very impressive...until you take into account that he brings everything...blks, stls, 3's rebs, pts with decent %. talk about stat stuffer.

Pretty sweet. The past couple of years I would have never had a Piston on my fantasy team if I was serious about winning. Our players are really stepping up and expanding their games to be more multi-faceted. I for one appreciate the effort. Like they say...nothing heals like winning. Still got my critical eye Flip shades on, but it feels good to win. Sitting through a season as a bottom dweller team would have been pretty hard to swallow.

I believe that Sheed hasn't committed a technical in the last 8 games which means the entire winning streak.

0 T's in 8 games for Sheed is a very impressive number 4sure.

Without Ben, and with Nazr frequently in foul trouble, the Pistons are winning games.

And they are getting it done midway through the fourth Q, not waiting for the final buzzer to close one out.

Also Carlos Delfino has really come alive in the last couple games.

Dale Davis is a total surprise. His passing and floor spacing is way underrated.

I thought Dale might be a veteran goon, tough but undersized on the boards, lousy on offense. Useful, but definitely not this useful.

He made some sweet plays in the Bobcats game, one with the relay feed to Rip for a layup and the pass out of the post in transition to Tayshaun for a three.

And the old man still can hit a 10 foot jumper to boot!

No, I wasn't joshing. I am just super impressed and didn't expect to be.

I though Dale would be like Motown's Darko and instead he is playing like bball jay's Darko.

I think The Bird Man taught him that shot when DD played in Hicksville.

Glad to see the Pistons doing well, and I hope they continue.

However, I am in 1st place of the Open League with not one Piston on my squad.......................

    BTW, that will continue...............:)

10 man rotation. How long have we all called for that? This was a rough schedule to start with and that deep bench helped pull the team through. They looked about as fresh on the tail end of that 4 game in 5 nights that I have seen them since 04.

Too bad Maxiel is out but I guess you can't play everyone. Who knows if Dyess does not start producing more the Brama can return. I would count him out yet.

I have been very impressed with Davis. Impressed and also trying to not remind myself that he could have been helping us out last season. Better late then never.

I have been impressed with Murry's play of late. I was trashing on the guy earlier but he was really been helping out off the bench. Delfino has been playing great. And what about Hunter? He mainly plays for his defense and - Yes the guy can actually score, something we forgot about.

Really do need to get a 5th big in there. At least ready to play because you never know when the injury bug is going to bite.

And the good thing is Maxiel did play well when he did play....

Would it hurt to have dyess and maxiell switch position in the depth charts once every 5 games depending on the opposing team?
