    I wanted Nate when the LB speculation was at a fever pitch, and while I admire him as a man and coach, I don't think he could have worked with JD. The Pistons culture doesn't seem suited to very strong personalities imposing their will.

    I'm wishing Nate all of the success in the world @ Portland. Prove the doubters wrong. He's one heck of a coach.

    Micro, thanks for posting that. I think Dumars and Nate could have co-existed perhaps, but Nate could not have co-existed with some of the other Davidson butt-kissers in the front office (Tom Wilson).

    Yep. I wanted Nate too, but I think and hope things worked out for the best given all the dynamics in this particular situation.
