NBA free agents: Sources: Deal to send Carlos Boozer to the Chicago Bulls in works - ESPN Chicago

That would leave Chicago very thin on the guard side.

Did I actually propose this trade? OK I'm going to stop, I said very early that Portland should pursue Heinrich, Chi wanted desperately to move or dump him. This is a very smart move by ALL 3 parties, Utah saves $$$ and gets a "decent" backup PF, Chi unloads Heinrich and by doing so gets Carlos Boozer and Portland gets a legit baller at the point.

Well I guess I can take Port out of all my "Fantasy" trade scenarios. We still need to sign Bass and then see if we can dump Maxiel off to somebody, at this point we can only call on OKC for that, but if they don't get Millsap, Bass, Gortat they'll be a little desperate to get a frontcourt player.
