Well he did say he owed him the courtesy of meeting face-to-face. I guess Kooster can consider himself "met".

Sampson, Woodson top Pistons' list - NBA - Yahoo! Sports

Mark Jackson would be interesting even though he has no coaching experience. He was a PG so knows how a team should run and seems to like defense. I also think he would play to a teams strengths based on his commentary. "Ben Gordon, you are a knock-down shooter. Take it and make it."

Perhaps we could just hire all 4 guys?

I really hope we don't hire Mark Jackson. I don't know if I can take any more "Mama there goes that man" crap. LOL

That doesn't make any sense. If Jackson did get a coaching job he wouldn't be on tv anymore and you wouldn't hear his famous quotes.

Chris Broussard also said these guys are possible coaches for Pistons

Early coaching candidates for Detroit job: Mike Woodson,Mark Jackson, Lawrence Frank, sources say. Pistons will take their time.

The Pistons do NOT need a coach with ZERO experience (Mark Jackson).

Even though Joe says the new coaching search is a priority... you gotta believe it takes a backseat to this weeks visit to Treviso (Euro camp) and the draft.

At this point, if we don't see Bill Laimbeer as coach I will be completely and utterly disappointed. I could care less about any of the other candidates.

If Mark Jackson is the Pistons next coach, Bill Laimbeer should feel free to take a dump on Joe Dumars' desk.

Mark Jackson will NOT be the next Pistons coach. I've never been so sure of anything in my life.

For the record, it's extremely disrespectful of clueless Gores to exclude Lee356 from the list of coaching candidates.

Gores is a realist. He knows that Lee will not give up his bicycle riding time or gardening to coach some silly NBA team. At any rate, Gores couldn't afford 356.

Lee is tending his garden this time of year and wouldn't have time for an interview...

Yeah, but Gores should still hire Lee as an consultant, as he knew more about the Pistons than the three previous coaches.:)
