Oops. I meant that I didn't think OSU will win by more than 18. Gambling and lines confuse me.

OSU's defense has been pretty good in the first half. Hoping for a more respectable second half for the Spartans.

I knew what you meant. My point was that I think OSU will outscore MSU by more than 1 in the second half. I think taking Ohio State and giving 18 points would have been the safe bet. Let's hope not...

WOW!!! A pick & a fumble return for TD's in less than 1 minute.

If only Ohio State would keep their offense on the field, then MSU could keep racking up more points.

Just another Spartan loss. I just got back a little while ago and saw the score. The game summary made it sound like they could have tied it up, but I'm thinking it also could have been a blowout.

I'm not encouraged by this loss at all, but it looks like at least they didn't quit. Maybe we'll have a decent shot at winning one or two of the last four. Me and my pal (who also lives in Boise and graduated from MSU with me) are seriously considering heading to a bowl game wherever that may be...if they should get in.

Even though the Spartan offense couldn't do anything, you have to give MSU credit for going into Columbus and losing by only one score.

The Sparties just couldn't move the ball. Inside & outside, the run was all but shutdown. It seemed like OSU had 12 or 13 guys playing D most of the time...LB Laurinaitis was everywhere.

Still...only a 7 point differential thanks to the Spartan D, despite a boat-load of missed tackles.

At least MSU is losing respectably this year lol. Seriously...they look far better under Dantonio than under John L.

That was some comeback. I have never seen OSU look so helpless on offense. It was lucky for them that they have the number one defense
    in the country.

That was worrisome that that third fumble in a row could very well have gone for another touchdown.

I wonder how much it helped that the Spartan coach was the defensive coach at OSU. It was like they knew exactly what was going to happen.
And they seemed to know just how to stop it.

    Good game.

i should've stopped watching the game sooner. i figured it was over so i went out with some friends to dinner, and within the 3 minutes it took me to drive to my friend's house, they came out and said MSU had just scored 2 touchdowns and it was 24-14. i laughed, but then turned on the radio and was like, woah!

Pretty big game today for Sparty. Please win MSU.

It's a game they CAN win, but hard to say if they WILL win.

They can prove that their program is headed in the right direction with a victory. Bowl eligibility would be nice.

My guess, for what it's worth is that it will be a close game.

Problem is they don't do well in close games.

    Ok, nevertheless...

Too close for comfort is right as...20-20 at the end of regulation and of course a loss in OT. 34-27. What is with the Sparts?? win first four games and then lose 4 of the last five??

There must have been a reason in the back of my head to not watch any of this game. I only listened to the radio for a few minutes before the half when the Sparties were up 17-3.

It SUCKS to be a Spartan fan :yellowprison:

I watched the game and the Spartans were [STRIKE]robbed[/STRIKE] so close. It's a [STRIKE]crime[/STRIKE] shame after such a good start, to be 5-4. It's gotta be tough being a Spartan fan at this time of the season.

Michigan State Plays Michigan tomorrow and nobody's talking any trash on this thread. C'mon, Michigan lost to Apple State for gosh sakes. Nothing for the last six days......What's up with that. Actually, I'm afraid that UM will lose and ruin their season all over again. Things must be just as sad in the MSU camp............

The first half was very dull...210 yards of offense between them, but this is a new half. Switching up Caulcrick & Ringer (Thunder & Lightening...I like that lol) is starting to work and the passing lanes are opening.
