Hello Y'all. This is your dirty south brethren straight out of New Orleans and I just wanna say how much I hate the damn Spurs and their lame a** boring half court offense. Their defense is anchored by none other than Bruce Bowen who is a dirty a** player. That's all I wanted to say. Peace y'all. I'm out.:swear2::frusty:

Sorry to hear you're pissed at the Spurs and their boring half-court offense. Me, on the other hand, wishes the Pistons were still even half as good at it.:smoke06:

Yea seems like you guys got away from the half court game and opted for the uptempo fast break offense. The Spurs have a knack for slowing down fast paced high powered offenses. Ive seen them do it to the hornets enough times.

I love boring halfcourt style when its executed well.

The Hornets hamstrung themselves with signing Peja and could have been dangerous otherwise. As it is they are like us...close but not quite. Now things happen and while we may be falling apart more quickly, both need to try to figure out how to revamp their teams.

If the Pistons can't be the team that wins it all, I'm cool with San Antonio winning.

    - Great coaching
    - Quiet leadership
    - Outstanding role players
    - TEAM basketball
    - Stern hates 'em (boring half court b-ball makes for low ratings)

    ...kinda sounds familiar doesn't it?

I'd rather see Duncan hoisting the gold ball than jersey poppers like Boston or primadonnas like TheBron and Kobe.

Your right I just find it painful to watch. I prefer uptempo offenses like the Princeton offense like the one we run with lots of pick and rolls...

When Tim Duncan retires, Gregg Popovich will retire with him.

Well its' an odd year and the Spurs did win 99, 03, 05 and 07...They had the best record on 01, but some how or another got swept by Kobe, Shaq and the refs in the conference finals. Other wise they may have won then and would be on tract to win this year.(09)..in fact let me go record to say I hope they do win it this year..

I'd much rather see the Spurs win than the Celtics. The only guy I didn't like was Horry.
