Apparently, you and I view guys like Ray Felton, Barney Yarney and the 2014 version of Amare Stoudemire differently.
Not even the "outstanding leadership qualities" of Carmelo Anthony could have helped that disaster of a roster.

Curious. Would you rather trade the Piston roster for NYC's straight up?

The two teams have similarities...both being a mish-mash of guys with talent, each with his own warts....many a players that could thrive with the right coach, team chemistry, and system.

Literally not in a million years. Especially now. With no Chandler they are a soft spongy mess on defense, and a one trick pony on offense. Plus Derek Fisher as a coach? I can't see this being that great of an experiment.

Also, they are completely hamstrung by their big contracts. They are 13m and change over the tax line and are shaping up to be a 40 win team. Blurgh. Even when they can shed the 30m between Pasta noodle and Stat they are still closing in on the cap. That is just bad management.

Unless we've all traveled back in time to the mid 90's and nobody told me about it, there's absolutely no way the Knicks are winning 40 games this season.

How far under would you go?

I think there is enough talent on that team to get 40 wins. But even if there was enough talent to get 55 wins I still wouldn't trade for it.
