The real story here is Joe and Isiah making a deal. Which one takes advantage of the other?

I'd only want him if we brought LB back--just for comedic purposes

This is a good point. Mbury or AI and both will become available. AI should have been a Piston a long time ago. AI on becoming a Piston will play until he is fifty. Something Ben should have figured out long ago.

This is maybe the most surrealistic thread I've ever read on here.

Speaking of which, please everyone, watch this video whenever you catch yourself seriously imagining Starbury on the Pistons:

YouTube - Stephon 'Starbury' Marbury on Mike'd Up

Can we make sure the front office has this on continuous loop until they barf if this ever comes up as an idea?

Interesting to say the least... I hope he has enough money to feed is [STRIKE]ho[/STRIKE] wife and family, because he should just retire while he appears? to be ahead. I am not sure where his head is and Zeke knows that putting him a game in current state may be disasterous:sssh:

Bottom line as I see it-

If a guy is truly the knucklehead that the media makes them out to be- Joe won't sign them.

If Joe signs them, the media probably has it wrong.

I thoroughly enjoyed his comments on the whole Mick Vick thing. Er not so much.

He's like every possible bad stereotype you can think of, and what if I were a black man would not want associated with me.

Guy can ball though, if we didn't already have 5,550 guards I'd offer him a deal similar to what Arvis got 1 year, basically minimum, and not a cent more.

I don't see where we play him... he's getting old, so does he play ahead of our two young guards? does he replace one of our starters? we need a vet insurance guard to sit on the bench in a suit ala Hunter, but can't see Starbury ever being happy in that roll, or being happy with what that sort of roll would pay.

Chris is the best at letting us know what we already know... to bad he could never "break" a story.

was re reading something this morning... and he was talking about murrey scoring points on us in the next game..... wow missed that one too huh chris (didn't end up with clippers? but in indiana)

The only difference between Chris and alot of folks on this board with views that are right and wrong is that he gets paid for his..... The shame is I would rather pay for most of the folks on the boards

yep he sucks, but remember, we are all hardcore Pistons fans. McCorney has to cater for the lowest common demoninator (read 'fan'), the kind of fans who only peaks an interest when they happen to catch a story like this on the sports ticker on ESPN and look to the DetNews for a quick answer.

Fortunately for McCranksky this plays to his writing strengths, which is to say 'Poor and obvious'.

And I should probably spell his name correctly at least once in the hope he googles himself at night and finds this post.

    McCoskey... :loser:

True, except, most of the people on this board don't treat others like trash when posting.

That's very sweet of you. Can't fault Chris for getting paid though. :)
How did you know it was you? ;)
I didn't understand this one. Are you talking about CM's angry blog posts?

Yes, I was responding to the comment that CM does what a lot of people on here do, but he gets paid for it. I was commenting on the fact that Chris gets paid to treat his readers like they are weak-minded fools, when from his posts he seems to be the bigger fool.

I love his game, and I insisted to believed that big brand names drove him out of NBA because of his cloths/sneakers lines.
