Stern stepping down in 2014

    I know a lot of people compare him to the likes of Sepp Blatter, but I really don't think he is that bad. He wanted to expand the league, he has mentioned going towards a proper feeder system.

    Is the draft bad? Yes. But it isn't that bad. Could he have fixed a few other things. Of course.

    Do you see people refusing to watch games because of Stern? No.

    I feel sorry for the guy sometimes, he has copped a lot of flak, in a very difficult, high intensity job, and sometimes he doesn't deserve it.

    I am not sure how much is going to change for the better after Stern leaves. I really think this is the best time for him to retire and enjoy life as it should be outside the NBA life, I'm pretty sure he's been grooming Adam silver behind the scenes on how to conduct the league when he takes over.
