I know chances are slim for this happening, but should Stuck be considered as an All Star reserve?
they were talking about him on TNT before the pistons celtics game. They were pretty much saying he has tough competition, but he is up there with them.
Maybe next year but I doubt it this year for some reason but he could be an all-star reserve.
Perhaps the Rookie Challenge Game?
He should be rookie/soph challenge, but the only way he would get voted on as a reserve is if the Pistons were in the top two in the conference and his play was responsible for it. But being the number 5 team at the moment, only AI and Tay get consideration and that is because one is in the top 5 in voting and the other won a gold in the Olympics.
AT this point all the Pistons need to just remain spectators, save Stuck in aforementioned side show game.
he'll be in the rookie/sophomore game. he hasn't done enough this year to warrant all-star consideration when compared to the stats some of these other guys are putting up, and the fact that he hasn't started all the games.
no. i know we like our pistons, but hell naw.
No he won't be in the all star game this year.
not the time yet.
are non starters that I think would get the allstar nod over Stuckey...and i'm not even counting sg's
Mo Williams and Rondo have probably the same chance Rodney does, but Nelson and Harris definitely have the edge (though harris has slipped lately). Coming off the bench for a big chunk of the season puts Rodney pretty much completely out of the race IMO.
He'll definitely be starting the Rookie/Sophomore game, and he may even be a candidate for the skills challenge... But he'll have to wait a year or two for the all-star team.
Rondo wouldn't even deserve it either. He posts unspectacular numbers and he does play with 3 future hall of famers.
I'm actually a fan of Rondo's game...he can't shoot from the outside obviously, but he's arguably the best defender and rebounder at the pg position...and he runs their offense well...
Stuckey for MVP?
NBA.com: Race to the MVP: Halfway home, it's LeBron, Kobe and ...
AI is also there and so is Tay.
Tay is (OLI)
I wouldn't consider him as an all-star right now, but maybe next season he will live up to that.
Gee, what does it say about the Pistons depth if their 10th best player is being talked about as an All-Star or MVP?
Separate names with a comma.
