Tay was put at power forward, which is an exhausting position for him to play. He simply had no leg strength to shoot threes. He went the entire month of December making just 1 three pointer. He took lots at the beginning of the month, and then realized he could not make them and quit taking them. He did step up his three point shooting again after we quit the small ball stuff. However, it must be noted, when Dyess and Sheed are paired up, they can't guard the interior at all, as there is no speed between them. Which means Tay has to play like a maniac trying to help cover the middle. Pretty exhausting there too. I doubt that is helping his long range shooting.
