Tay was put at power forward, which is an exhausting position for him to play. He simply had no leg strength to shoot threes. He went the entire month of December making just 1 three pointer. He took lots at the beginning of the month, and then realized he could not make them and quit taking them. He did step up his three point shooting again after we quit the small ball stuff.

However, it must be noted, when Dyess and Sheed are paired up, they can't guard the interior at all, as there is no speed between them. Which means Tay has to play like a maniac trying to help cover the middle. Pretty exhausting there too. I doubt that is helping his long range shooting.

tay should just launch 3s in the corner the way he used to...stop with the pump fake already...how many times did he do that tonight and miss the open 2-pointer anyway?

Five idiosyncrasies that drive me nuts.

    1. Tay's pump fake.
    2. Stuckey picking up his dribble.
    3. McDyess finishing soft at the rim.
    4. Rip leaving his feet then deciding to pass.
    5. Curry coach faking.

I hope I'm not the only one who got excited at Coynejeremy's post today. Just make this season end. Curry is retarded.

We're a couple of losses away from him dribbling between his legs before he shoots it.

I fully expect Sheed to start shooting exclusively with his left hand very soon.

...and I can't say that I blame him.

I'd like to see Sheed start shooting more 3/4-court shots, preferably early in the shot clock.

You know, this is no defense of any of our guards, but after you've seen Carlos Arroyo, no one overdribbles in comparison.

At least that would be somewhat entertaining.

    8. Tay holding the ball in his left hand away from the defender for 15 seconds.

You know, what one may believe is overdribbling is really a whole lot of talent.

    I agree about Arroyo.
Rip and Stuck are clearly inspired by CA. They both love to pound the heck out of the ball while standing essentially in one spot.

Chuck takes a different approach to his overdribbling as he tends to dart all over the court while dribbling with his head down for 10 - 15 seconds at a time before picking up the rock and launching a heavily contested fadeaway.

I can't get over the impact that Carlos Arroyo STILL has on this team even after being gone for quite some time now.
    ...Amazing.

That one he took in Chicago this year might just be the worst shot in the history of professional basketball.
