joe says stuckey is a combo guard and not a 48 minute pg and they will play stuckey at both postions so either afflalo or rip has to go or even stuckey

I glanced at the thread title and thought it said

"Stuckey rips one and has to go"

    :banplease

Roscoe, you really do NOT deserve this.

When did he say this? Rip being traded is certainly not out of the question, but I want a quote.

Well he did mention the first part of it in his presser yesterday

"joe says stuckey is a combo guard and not a 48 minute pg and they will play stuckey at both postions"

It's ok. Rip can play the 3, and Tay can play the 4.

It seemed to me like he was talking about a three guard rotation of Bynum, Stuckey and Rip. There is still room for Afflalo as a fourth guard and sometimes SF.
I do think Rip is the number one trade option so that is not exactly etched in stone.

Is that the Geico caveman? The sign should say:

Coaching: So easy even a Curry can do it...almost.

Hate to nit pick here, but didn't we have a situation at the start of the year where Stuckey didn't have to be a 48 minute PG?

    What a great idea!!!!!!

I still remember that article last year on Pistons.com talking about playing Prince some at the 4 and this was before the Iverson trade.

At least they have figured that one out by now. Besides the simple math of having like 8 PF's and only 1 SF, in that case you probably don't play your only SF at the 4.

I have a feeling Prince will be moved and AA will be our starting SF. or at least given the chance.

Also - Stuckey has to get a more stable jump shot before he can be a decent SG.
