Let's have some fun. Come with some ideas to improve this team, no matter how dumb, stupid or unrealistic.

    Here's my "Master Plan"
    1. We put CV on the shelf to heal up.
    2. We keep bengo, Rip, and Tay on the shelf, until they are 110%
    3. We play Ben Wallace 45mpg.
    4. We play Rodney Stuckey at PG for 45mpg
This should pretty much leave us in contention for the #1 pick........we draft John Wall. Then we do a Sign and Trade for Chris Bosh where we send Rip and Max to Toronto.

    PG: Wall / Bynum
    SG: Stuck / Gordon
SF: Tay / Daye / JJ / Summers
PF: Bosh / CV / JJ
    C: MLE player / Wilcox / Ben

The Next move would be to trade Tay and Charlie for a Center

    Our Lineup:
    PG: Devin Harris/Stuckey
    SG: Kobe/Stuckey
    SF: LeBron/Jerebko/Daye/Summers
    PF: Charlie V/Maxiell/Jerebko
    C: Lopez/Wallace

We might just make the playoffs.

Hmmm. Now that I think about it, this might make Cleveland a little TOO good actually.

My question is, how does that trade only make us 16 wins better? :pound:

If there was a way to make that trade work without losing Chris Wilcox, I might pull the trigger.

The bigger question is, how does that decrease NJ's win total by 7; I mean what, are they going to have -3 wins on the year?

I think once the rookie coach in New Jersey just figures out the correct rotations, then the Nets are going to be just fine.

Looks like Stuckey may have pulled something last game. Better take him out for a month to make sure. Better safe than sorry.

Then play one of out PF's at SG along with Atkins for 45 MPG. Grab at top 3 pick and blame the bad season on the Coach.

Re: What to do with Kwame?

I guess the first order is to address the Kwame thing... after we signed him the hope was that he could finally relax and work into a roll that would bring out some of the qualities that the scouts predicted.... uh... this hasn't really come about... but the turnabout under a less demanding environment hasn't happened.

Not like he has not contributed on the defensive side... the guy is cat quick... but there is no sense hoping on his O game improving... if you can expect this with an inexpierenced surrounding cast that will defer more... it simply ain't happenin'

The goal should be adding a big that can be a difference maker for next few years...
My preference would be to get back to the dayz of "in yo face" defense.. and adding offense as it becomes available.
This is why I have a problem with CV... he's too young to be a defensive liability.

As I promised my buddy KG, here is my choices for converting Kwame into a tangible Big for the future....

    By priority:

#1- Sacremento wants to win or their future in Sac Town is in jeopardy...
Kwame, our #1, & CV for Jason Thomas (a stud in the making) and Nocioni (needs a new team) expiring.

#2) Chris Kaman, Al Thornton (best athlete in his draft) for Tay & Kwame, our #1... gotta give value for value.

#3) Okafor for Tay, Kwame and both 2nd rounders.

#4) Ty Thomas- Our 1st and Jmax.. I still think T.T. will be a beast in the middle... luv his mean attitude... scare em out of the sweet zone.. underrated on O... he'll suck coming off an injury (meaning tradable)

#5) Dalembert (exp 2010/11) for Rip st8 up... all about the future.

#6) Biedrins for Kwame & Max

#7) Haywood, McGee for Our #1 & Max

Always appreciate opinions that are about finding solutions vs problems.

KG this was supposed to be in your thread about making trades no matter how crazy... sorry I'm getting old. :^)

Re: What to do with Kwame?

    Kwame is what he is

Cat quick, but bird dumb. Quick enough to get there, but not smart enough to know where 'there' is.

Hell yeah, I'm listening, what'cha got?

Charlie is an old man in a young mans body. On defense his immobility shows up, on offense he's so Ol'Skool with it that he can always get a shot off, dude is as crafty as they come offensively......I still can't unserstand how he makes some of that BS he puts up.

    I think I'm gonna cry............:crying:

    :fingerscr

Merc......A few of us have been trying to figure out a way to say this and keep our relationship with you in tact....buuut......wellll......see........we don't really like Kaman....whew!! There, I feel so much better......But if you can get Al Thornton in the deal, well, hey

Gotta watch how this plays out, I don't think that New Orl's (and by New Orl's I mean Chris Paul) is sold on the Okafor deal

I don't know about 'beast', but I'd give ANYBODY our 1st rdr to get rid of Jason Maxiels contract.

He took it to New Orl's in his first game back, looked damn good too. But I think we can nab him with the full MLE this summer; and probably should look at doing so.

    R-I-S-K-Y!!!!!!!!

Oh if Don Nelson was only that dumb, HOLD UP, wait-a-minute, we are talking about Don Nelson, is he still making personnel decisions in Golden State? In all seriousness, I think if we threw in our #1 pick, we'd have something.

They'd make us take back Agent Zero in that deal.

Made me laugh about bringin' me down gently on the Kaman thing.... what can I say.. he's my CMU boy... but the guy is a double double machine and blocks shots... while shooting with range.

Granted he hasn't stayed healthy (like BD)... but I would love to see him on a team that can stretch the floor.... he's better than 80% of the centers.
What would we be like with a legit post option in the middle?

Naw, I ain't given up that easy KG.
