You guys are so upper class.
Well you know we have to be upper class to live California...., we need enough to pay the outrageous mortgage, drive the fancy cars and pay the car insurance for our unemployed sons
Here in Montana...you just let him borrow the horse...
With Nene opting out of his contract today is there something that Joe can entice him to sign with the Pistons other than A LOT OF MONEY before midnite tonight??
Nene opting out of final year with Nuggets | 9news.com
Mention to him that he'll probably be a starter after he proves himself.
Yea, plus once he gets here, there will be no sacred cows.
Portland made qualifying offer to Oden for $8.8M. Is he worth it?
There's a 5% chance he'll be worth over 10 million within 2 years....that's about it...
The team doctors are the only ones that know for sure.
If dude can put his leg at a respectable height on Arnie's wall, I'd be down with shelling out some jack to sign him.
No...but, add another 2M and you get Gasol. Memphis matches in a S/T to us and they get Tay, plus a lottery protected #1.
Looks like SA plans on offering Dyess $5M after the lock out. That seems overpriced too.
The sad thing is...Dyess was in the right situation the last 6 years and failed to get a ring with two top tier teams. If he still has it in him, he may want to sign for less than that and go to LA, Miami or Chicago next year for a better chance at some jewelry.
Gasol is probably the most overrated guy on the market this FA season. The team which signs him for star money will regret it when the memories of his recent playoff heater fades and the reality of his 11.7 ppg / 7.0 rpg regular season returns.
You really miss Kwame, don't you?
Take it anyway you want, but I say that the Pistons remain on the bottom third until they start developing the 3-4-5 positions. Monroe is only a tiny start.
Montepaschi announces former Pistons DaJuan Summers | Serie A | Italy | Sportando
Summers will play in italy next year, nice to know i will see him play minutes in euroleague, italy is not acb league but he will have one opportunity to developpe his game in italy.
Macr Gasol is not overrated,he is a pure, young and ofensive skilled centar with intimidation,he´s not Pau but in today nba there aren´t a lot of quality centers.Menphis is in play off race, they will keep Marc toguether Randolph.
Our only quality available center in pistons team will come in next draft.
okkafor contract is very poor, howard will not sign here probably and dalembert is older player who lacks attitude to win or effort...
Oden would be nice working with Arnie in lock out 1 year +1 team option but porland had keeped Oden.
Good for him. He should have considered doing something like that anyways. He needs to go someplace where he can grow and make a splash if he does.
Perhaps more fringe players like Summers will start signing contracts outside of the NBA with the lockout possibility.
Plus guys that are more than fringe guys:
Dallas Mavericks guard Rudy Fernandez offered deal in Spain, report says - ESPN Dallas
He could also sign with Dallas. I hear Dyess likes teams that employ some sort of team play with little player dissention...
I read this post and thought that I was reading an old thread about Ben Gordon until I noticed that you were referring to Gasol.
