That play by Eli when he was almost tackled and he thru it for 40 yards is the PLAY OF THE CENTURY so far. I could hear the old dolphins roar all the way from Miami.

I guess all you had to was see the 4th qtr on this one. Good win for the Giants, but still would have like to have seen the Patriots win....So once again in pro sports in this decade, the team with the best record fails to win the big one again. (Keep it going Celtics...so you can fail too...:))

Give credit to the Giants. They made the big play when they needed one. I just hope all the OLD Dolphins just go away........

What a great game! The scramble by Manning and the catch by Tyree was a play for the ages. Pretty cool that Burress got the winning catch after catching crap from Brady for the 21 point prediction...MSU just beat UM! lol

Only a Spartan would take credit for that DT LOL:MusicBigGrin:

Brady tried to be the hero on his closing drive and it did look good for about 3 minutes... There will be some what ifs for the losers. What if Belachek had gone for that FG in the second instead of the long pass play, ....should Brady have burn some clock with some running plays instead of 3 straight passes before hitting Moss. ..what if Eli's knee had touch the ground or Tyree had given up thinking Manning was down.

Finally what if Archie Manning's oldest son Cooper had not been diagnosed with a spinal disease, he possibly could have been just as good as both Peyton and Eli and had another Superbowl ring for daddy Archie to brag about.

The final drive by the Giants in the fourth was just RIDICULOUS. I don't think I've seen a super bowl that exciting before...

Amen. This is the first time in my memory that so many non New Yorkers are happy to see them win.

Strahan didn't get many tackles, but I can't wait for his first post-Superbowl appearance on Best Damn :D

That catch, combined with the scramble by Eli, makes that one of the best plays in Superbowl history. How did he manage to hang on to that ball?

    Agreed.

Scramble + Catch + Magnitude of Play = Best play in Superbowl history

This is so bitter sweet for the Pats. I loved the way they took no prisoners all season long. Faced down all the sensitive creeps saying they were running up the score etc.
All that perfection goes to waste because they lost the big one.
    They dared to be great!!!
Like they say, Defense wins championships.
