I'm picking the Colts, The AFC has won the superbowl seven out of the last nine. If the Colts go ahead early Grossman might not be able to catch up and I don't think Manning wants to be known as a season QB who hasn't won the big one.
    Colts 38 Bears 14

I took the under for $10...48 points
also field goals of longer than 46 and shorter than 26
    Bears with more total sacks.

That seems strange. What is the connection? I didn't know that the Lions played football?

    :hoops:

    Okay Lions fans.

Question of the day for Lions fans.

Is Peyton as good as Bobby Layne was? In my opinion Peyton is not as exciting or charismatic as Layne was.

Pleases only comment if you are old enough to have actually seen Layne play.

    :hoops:

Thats what I do, Thee. I love playing spread games in the Super Bowl because everyone in the house can join in. I like drinking spread games where the loser with the most off pick has to take a shot or a chug-a-lug. U can play first team to score, fumble, intercept, throw a 20 yarder or longer comp. U can choose individual players. Commercials run the most. Anything. U can even take bets on what Prince might do at halftime. Cant wait to get home...

BTW, Colts 27 Bears 13...in a terribly played game.

    Manning will get paid now.

I heard somewhere that his endorsements will triple after a Super Bowl victory..............and he wasn`t doing that bad before this win!!!!!!

I just went to a Super Bowl party where the hard-core Bears fans watched the game outside. I guess they have been doing it all year and were afraid that they would jinx it by changing the routine now.

It was nice and toasty inside though... and plenty of room on the couch.

Now he enters the MJordan and TWoods pay scale.
Colts had already sold the farm for him.

Even though I was rooting for the Bears, I'm happy for Manning. He paid his dues with all of the losses. And he handled it in a classy way.

Having seen 20 or so SBs now you learn the first words spoken are most often the truth. [Colts -7] Anything thereafter is heresey. [Bears have a chance]

A pretty good night and I was pretty good on the final score. Three things I want to touch on:

    1. PRINCE is ridicoulus. I beleive evry man has a "man-crush" on somebody. I alaways wanted to Be Prince. Were 5 years apart in age so he's like the big brother I never had. His show wasnt just good. It 'may' have been more inspirational than the 'two black head coaches' story. all through the first half I kept saying "There's no way , he's going on"...then, "they must have some sorta tarp or cover" ...and the MAN went out there AND JAMMED! For all yall who never saw Prince live (shame on u) but thats the third greatest guitarest the world has ever known...(BTW, 1. Eric Clapton , 2. Jimmie Page and 4. Jimi Hendrix)... The man cemented his legacy by putting it on in the worst conditions I ever saw since Diana Ross performed at Central Park in much worse conditions. Ive never been more prouder of THE MAN ive worshipped(yeah, thats right) since 1977.

    2. THE EVENT. This wasnt just a black man issue. It was an issue that we need to love each other for who we are in spite of our bests and our worsts! Dont ahte just cause of someone's skin color, religion or social status. I'll never be around to see the world as I wish ..But this Forum is a s good as it's gets. Keep the peace, Family.

    3. THE GAME. Good enough. I like the fumbles and turnovers. Mainly cause I like yelling 'fum-ble!!!!' Drives the house crazy. Manning was as humble as Ive everseen a man after the game. He looked truly blessed.

Congrats to Dungy, Manning and the Colts. Hopefully, Flip & Tony can share championship memories this summer.

I always liked Dungy...even back with the Bucs. Too bad the Ford's don't have the brains to hire someone of his caliber and character.

As for Manning...that guy is priceless. His Mastercard commercials are GREAT! He's definitely got a future in Hollywood.

I really thought Grossman would have a better game than that. 2 fumbled snaps and 2 interceptions with less than 5 quality passes. The conditions were horrible, but that should have played to the Bears advantage by neutralizing Manning.

I think that Dungy outcoached Lovie in the 2nd half.
