You guys are driving me nuts!!

You keep playing rent-a-player so you can get more guys on the ice than I can. Do you have any idea who REALLY is on your teams???

DePetrio is out of commission, so I'm playing with only one goalie. I tried Visnovski (sp),but it doesn't look like he'll be back either.

    Meanwhile, Potato Head is loaded.

Roscoe is playing for 3rd. He had his chances and blew them. No sense crying now.

THIS ISN'T NEARLY AS MUCH FUN NOW!!! When does baseball start???

I don't like it either, but I held out as long as humanly possible, until I finally had no choice but to go to rent-a-player late last week.

    Times are changing old man...

Woody, do you think I would have dropped a stud like Visnovsky if I thought he was going to play much these last two weeks?

Yeah, rent a player does suck, IMO, and I don't like doing it, but last week, I was totally outnumbered by Jammer every day until the last day.

This time, it's more a case of my offense is going in the tank and it's the zero hour, so I'm trying to figure out who to use. Koivu may be a keeper. We'll see.

Look on the bright side...at least those cheating underhanded Cannuckians :canada:can't get bragging rights this year! :caked:It just goes to prove that hockey is an American :usa:sport after all. :heh:

I had my best week the first week of the playoffs when I WASN'T EVEN PLAYING ANYONE!!!! Lots and lots of goals and assists, etc. but no opponent.

Now, when I need them, Brind'Amour suddenly gets old, Lidstrom hasn't done anything in a month, and even Selanne is cooling off. This season was a few weeks too long!!

Ah well, this is just a Fantasy isn't it??

    Woody,

With all due respect may I say...

    We both suck!!!!:hanged2::hanged2:

    -------------------------------------------------------------------

    Roscoe,

I don't mind the fact that I may not win the championship, but I'm going to be ticked off if you make more moves than me this season!:icon_evil:

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------

    Jammer,

It's all your fault I'm struggling. My guys didn't expect such an emotionally draining series last round with a 5th seed...a Cannuckian 5th seed for that matter!:yellowprison::party:

Congrats in advance to the winner of our league. I'll make sure to get one going next season as well.

Sorry I haven't been around here more, but you hoops heads make Superstarov proud.

    Where is everybody???

All of you folks playing for pride and runner-up positions should be talking up a storm. Even Mr. Potato Head is silent. Evidently he's playing for second. A noble position.

I still think the playoffs last THROUGH NEXT WEEK!!! At least I've got my lineups set through Apr. 8.

C'mon, don't give up yet. The best is yet to come!!!

IT AIN'T OVER 'TILL THE FAT GUY SINGS!! (and I'm warming up).

I think Jammer blew me away with a killer performance from Jaromir Jagr.

I think I learned some valuable lessons this year. I should be in the championship game next season.

It's about darn time he did something. Jagr has sucked rotten eggs for me for a long time. It's only fitting he would have a solid game on the last day of our season.

I learned a lot this season as well and I'm looking forward to applying it to my team next year.

Thanks to everyone for making this season a blast and thanks to "The Super Star" for the invite!

OUR season is NOT over. The last matchup lasts TWO full weeks! There is still one more week to go. :)

Besides, you are playing Roscoe after all.

Anyone can beat him with a full team of players having NA and INJ next to their names.:rofl:

No one seems to be too interested in this year. Can't imagine why.

After the way Tater cleaned my clock on Saturday, I'm losing interest fast also.

I can't keep up with Tater's rent-a-player. He's got a bunch of St. Louis guys so he can get a few players on the ice today, but he has already dropped them all for tomorrow. Personally, I say the hell with that. I'm going with the guys who got me here. My lineups are all set through Sunday. May the luckiest guy win!!!

It's darn close Woody. Your guys are awesome. But if I win it's SKILL. If you win it's luck.

I got home a few minutes late yesterday, and couldn't get Nabokov in my lineup. Dumb. Whenever I play scared I pay for it. Damn the torpodoes from here on in.

Man, it sure would be SWEET to win though. I can see that banner now. Hopefully it's by my name! But it's WAY to early to tell.

Uggh. I saw it coming for days Woodward. I think I should get a screen print of the scoreboard because today may be the last day I cling to my lead in the championship round.

I can't say I didn't give it my best shot. I threw everything I could at you but my guys have slowed way down, and yours keep coming on. Plus Brodeur has been stellar in making up ground in my early advantage in the nets.

No, I am not conceding. Of course not. But the momentum has certainly swung :hanged2: your way.

    Damn Hasek.

Yesterday was another shutout day in the NHL. Several guys got one... including my arch nemisis Damninik Hasek.

I never thought Hasek would last all season. He got me a couple of times!!

My battle with Tater has been epic. I had pretty much given up on winning any goalie stats after Kipper pitched a shutout, but Brodeur keeps putting up good numbers, and I'm playing with only one goalie, mostly.

These last few days are going to be fun(?). Tater has played at least 40 guys the past two weeks in an effort to overwhelm me. It ain't worked.

However this turns out, I've had a blast!!!

    Can't wait for next year!!!
