Tay The Grizz

I think this could reanimate the legend !
He was always such a great support player [when he had support].
Clearly he wouldn't take on the world by himself. [the anti AI]
Piston DNA to the max.
I'm not up on the Grizz but I know they have second round potential.
What I might do is watch Tays numbers from there and here and see how much competing makes a diff !

Since Rondo went down Pierce has said the ball is his. He's not giving up the running of the O to some backup point !

I really think that Tay + Ed Davis will help them a lot. Tay is a situational/ specialty defender and he's smart enough that he'll probably let the coach know how to best utilize him. He'll try hard to integrate himself quickly into their system. Sometime when you are a job too long, you lose that spark and need a new environment to wake you up. We'll see.

But Davis is really athletic and brings a lot to the table, especially if they bring him off the bench. He dunks a lot, has a decent post game, and is comfortable with the jumper out past the FT line. Grizz just got deeper.

Tay now may be situational-old age. But I think he is still a glue guy and a starter. I may be wrong but the last time I checked Tay is a deep P/O SF. I expect him to propel the Grizz to the ConF Finals. Assuming all the other pieces are commensurate.

Tay will have little to do with the success or failure of the Grizz.

Cause right now the Grizz are a success. Note: there are 3 teams playing +.700 ball in their Conf. If Tay gets 15 min. would you expect the Grizz to rise to... say....666-.680 by P/O time ?

He will. Because they just lost 17ppg, and he will have to take up some of that load.

I hope Tay and the Griz do well. He's better suited to covering the star WC SF's and 2's. He might just be better suited for the West also.

I saw some quote where Daye mentioned he was excited to get back to the West Coast. Hopefully he was misquoted and does in fact know about where Memphis is located.

Yeah but he's tall with a very nice stroke. If used correctly [only if he's hot and sat when he cools [10 min.]] he's a nice microwave.
