Hollinger though. Daye was kicking it in the advanced stats department. Hollinger's model might be telling him Daye is the next Charlie V.
Well, the trade machine is his creation I think and it had DET +3 wins, MEM + 3 wins, and TOR -2 IIRC.
I kinda like the fact that their isn't an appreciation thread for A-Daye. We've had one for Kelvin Cato, Dave Cowens, Nemo, Tony McDyess, Rascoe, Jake Voskuhl, Vern Hamilton, Darth Tator, Ben Wallace, Ernie Harwell, Woody, a combination LA Dre/Badminton appreciation thread, DeMarcus Cousins, Nemo, Kareem Rush, Wiggles, 'Rico White, Kyle Singler, Avery Johnson, Neil Diamond, Ben Gordon and Tayshaun Prince. Austin Daye doesn't deserve an appreciation thread.
Tayshaun had two. Maybe Daye could have one of them. By the way, TaS - your name change feels like the end of an era for me even more than the trade itself.
Grizz have gone like 2-4 since getting Tay. They finally found a team they could beat in Minn. Tay was high scorer ! with 8 for 8 ! Something tells me if need Tay game in game out to carry the load they'll be lucky to go .500 from here on out.
Strong win over BNets 76-72 Tay 30min and 11pt, 1 Oboard Daye 10min and 5pt. They won't be challenged again until Heat come to town on the 1st. Looks like good coaching and the Tay-Daye thing is working.
Grizz starters got a wash against the Heat as Tay held Bron to 18, but with 10 assist But Tay only got 4. 7 below his avg. Daye, 5 in 10 min. Heat bench did a little better than Grizz'z No excuses Grizz were at home.
Miami is tough, irregardless of the venue. They have won 14 straight games, 1/2 of which were on the road.
Tay's points are down to 8.9 per game and his FG% is down to 42.8%. These are career low numbers for him. His minutes are still 31.2 per game. There are 14 players on the Memphis roster with a PER higher than Tay.
Beer Tay has faded like all Pistons since CB left. 8.9 from when ? I was only talking about Heat game.
