U got that right, Home Town! 22 in a row and plenty of Attitude. Shane Battier has been on the teams with 2nd and 3rd longest winning streaks in NBA history!! Thats a Motown Man for ya!

Absolutely no denying, this fellow will have his jersey hanging. In an indirect since, JD's decision was not the result about Tays leadership, experience and intellectual perceptions about the game. In the end, someone had to pay and the list of first rights must pass on to youthful talent. In this period of transition; could Tay have been a great asset? We all know this as a big... yes! JD just drilled to small a hole and that machinist bit never thought about variation and the looseness of whole. Tay has a future in administration and his jersey will be hanging cleaned and pressed.

PS. I miss your old avatar (as in orange). My favorite of all.

Upon reading 'Skoo's quote for a 2nd time, it now makes sense to me. Tayshaun's jersey will indeed hang in the Toronto Raptors' arena due to Tay's role in facillitating the Rudy Gay deal.

I don't see #22 hanging in the Palace anytime soon. After all, this is a team that gave Ben Wallace's number to freaking Rodney Stuckey. Chauncey got slapped in the face (a 2nd time) by seeing his #1 on the back of Tracy McGrady (...and now Drummond ...which doesn't bother me as much, but still - c'mon man!).

Look for the Pistons' 2013 2nd rounder to be wearing #22 next year.

They should hang his luggage from the rafters.

It would have a folded up jersey inside it.

In the post game presser, Tay was asked" was he happy to be here? and he just said that he was happy to be playing basket ball...he said he was happy in Boston...thought maybe a buyout may happen and then he was shocked that he was traded and didn't even know where he was going until somebody told him later. Said that he didn't have have a suit so he could not have played tonight ....just had the warm ups on. We still appreciate you Tay...now please provide some direction to the young bloods and lets shoot for the 7th spot!!

Something tells me the new boss has a lot less tolerance for nonsense and entitlement. The good thing is we have multiple wing players, so sitting Tay doesn't have to be a problem. He is the FA @ season's end.

Yea, but if we are going to sit him, making the trade wouldn't make any sense. We actually took on more money and gave up players. We would have better off not doing anything.

I don't think SVG made the trade expecting Tay to be less than a pro. Dumars spoiled these guys.

Tay did seem like he was enjoying the game from the bench today. Hopefully, he comes around. A good day of practice tomorrow and I bet SVG starts him on Tuesday.

Your call is at good as it gets, whatever your placement on the round table. I suspect this is a accurate call.
This should happen and it probably will: despite his doubtful, historic and lingering heart.
SVG got him to be his starting three. The rest is up to him.

He says he wants to play ball. If he does well, he may get more PT than he got in Boston or Memphis...

I think he'll get all the PT he can handle, which is probably about 25 minutes. He's a pro, he'll be lecturing the kids on the way back to the bench no later than four minutes into the next game.
