Kinda interesting, don't you think? I seem to remember that Frank was blabbering away about the team and goals etc when he was first hired. Cheeks seems to be quiet. I hope that's a good sign.

Guys, when have you ever known the Pistons to not have a new coach?

Interesting to read threads like this.

Hindsight being 20/20 - Knight, Middleton & TRG for Jennings seems to be climbing up the list of Joe's worst GM blunders.

We traded three decent catapults for a mediocre trebuchet. What we really needed was a howitzer.

Knight may have arrived. I'm guessing that it is partially through hard work and partially because he has a great PG as a coach.

Both Brandons are actually having career best years so far in the young season and have stood out as the best players on MIL and DET.

So far this year, per 100 possession where applicable (BK vs BJ):
    Points: 28.9/ 29.7
    Assists: 10.1/ 11.0
    Rebounds: 9.5/ 5.3
    TS%: .575/ .578
    PER: 20.6/ 23.5
    VORP: 4.1/ 3.4
    WS/48: .169/ .206

Both are shooting over 40% from 3-point land.
Both are shooting over 80% from the FT line

BK arguably sets himself apart with his stellar rebounding (incredibly, he leads the Bucks in defensive rebounds and is 2nd in total boards) and defense, where he is 13th in the NBA in defensive win shares.

The only real negative is that his turnovers are still very high while Jennings is posting a 3:1 TO ratio so far. About 40% of BK's turnovers are ball handling related and 60% passing related. Jennings is 33%/67% for example with lower turnover %age overall.

Coincidentally, he's rebounding like Jason Kidd (BK at 6.6/36 vs Kidd's career 6.3/36).

The Bucks recently decided not to extend Knight's contract early, so they took on the risk that he might flourish during the course of the year and he took on the risk that he might get injured or fail to prove himself. So far, he has increased his stock with some heroics on top of it that will stick in people's minds.

Hopefully our Brandon can continue to play at this level and that it also has something to do with our coach (as opposed to small sample size). He's WAY out of the ranges that he has set for his career so far with a TS% about .080 higher (.578 vs .497) and an assist rate of 39.4% vs 29.6% (that 9.8 point rise means a 33% increase).
