And just to mix it up a little, Stanton would allow the Lions to run an option once or twice a game. Colletto should start thinking outta the box cuz the offense is going nowhere fast

The only option the current QBs offer is sack or incomplete.

    ...or Stanton on a draw.

The Lion offense is way too predictable and needs a big kick in the arse.

The Lions stink, but they really got screwed by the two calls today (fumble challenge and the phantom interference on the final drive). I bet the NFL will admit they screwed up the challenge later this week.

I meant the QBs the Lions are currently using (Kitna and Orlovsky). I like the mobility that Stanton brings to the equation and would like to see what he can do in a game.

Kitna is old and Orlovsky is a free agent after this year. Neither of those guys are the long term answer. This season is over. Let's see what Stanton has to offer.

I'd fire the coach now. This team is going nowhere and he seems to be putting a negative vibe out there just by being around. A change in QB won't help a team with all our issues. Playing a new QB and others is a step in the right direction.

I'm not sold on Marinelli as a head coach. His in-game management (or lack there of) and his in-ability to properly prepare these guys to play every Sunday shows us as much. But I do think that he's an excellent teacher for the young guys. From what I've heard from people outside of the organization, he's a good coach, he just has really bad players.

Sounds like a good position coach. Except the D-line isn't playing very well.

We held Minny to 12 pts at home. The Dee is fixed.
Now we can start ruining other teams P/O chances.

Exactly. Which leads to this - Mike Martz shouldn't have been fired in my opinion. We could have won more games than we lost this year if our offense didn't go either 3-and-out or picked consecutive processions. 21-0 means exactly that - 21 and NOTHING.

Baloney. Give it time. 49ers are already taking heat for not running the ball. JT O Harrington is now getting defensed better.

Martz was a cancer. Just look at how his 2 biggest disciples, Kitna and Roy, have acted since he left.

He was an ego first, team last type of guy.He was all about style over substance.

    No thanks and good riddance.

Jamm, he is better than Coletto. Since Jon was a Martz disciple maybe the team quit playing for him. That would at least explain why we couldn't tackle.
How about the Rams, all of a sudden they can play with the Skins at home?! All they wanted was a new coach. Maybe our guys want that too.?

Either I'm brilliantly gifted...Or just a big dummy.

    The wording was perfect.

I agree. That's an excessive taunting penalty right there. After all, this is the No Fun League we're talking about.
