We need a thread to keep track of the Leebeer tennis results. My money is on Lee.

After reading this I started to read BoT as Bo-T in my head. I think I'm going to start refering to heavy periods of exercise in the sauna as Bo-T camps.

I do not think that it is far fetched for the Pistons to play somewhere in the 'hood of .500 ball this year. The Pistons will be playing Knight and Monroe a lot so it shouldn't take much for them to play the youth. Drummond, that foreign guy from Russia and one of the Ken English, Rick Middleton or Kyle Singler group would be nice to see out there in place of Corey Maggette.

That being said I tend to discount strong finishes in most instances after they started out so horribly. I think teams may have slept on them some after that point. What could their record have been last year without Ben Wallace?

I am not pumped up about having Monroe guard 4's.

I don't know what our final record will show, but I'm pretty sure the Pistons will play better basketball this year. Whether that translates to more wins, it's hard to predict and frankly is quite irrelevant at this point in time.

I just hope we don't win a championship with BoT on the roster.

    I'd argue "A"..........

    1. It is time to move some guys.

    2. I see chemistry issues that will manifest this season.

    3. It is time to move some guys...

The Pistons won't win 40 games.
While the roster has improved slightly, the competition in the EC has improved significantly.

Ben Gordon left for Corey Maggette.

We swapped a right foot to dribble off for another left foot.

    But seriously, .500 is reachable.

I wonder how many games Maggette will play for the Pistons? He's every bit the anti-Pistons that Gordon/Garbage were/are. I feel like he's going to be constantly injured.

    Will he hit 40?

Is that a Swedish phrase, too? I know in Germany they say "pressing my thumbs".

I see 2012-13 as a breakout season for Maggette.

Somebody is bound to have a breakout year.

Maggette- has the talent, but will he get the opportunity?
Villenueva- injury free now and in the best shape of his life. Chip on his shoulder from the PR snub. Can really "fill it up" if you know what I mean.
Daye- pushup routine has been mastered. If his touch comes back he still could become the most dangerous sniper on the team who is always open due to his height.
Jerebko- achilles is good and he's back in game shape. This is the year that determines whether he is a starter or career 6th man.
Knight- rookie learning curve gone. Just needs to play with more discipline. He'll get every opportunity to break out this year.
Singler- darkhorse, not your average rookie. Duke stud who proved himself on the mean courts of Europe. May not get the minutes.
Kravklaw- late blooming defensive nightmare with no need for touch shots due to his overwhelming physical dominance. Unknown how Kwame his hands are on offense.
    Drummond- the next Dwight Howard
English- the hall monitor who takes the fun out of fundamentals.

Guys who have very limited breakout potential:
Monroe- Chip on his shoulder from the Team USA snub. But really there is very little room to improve because he's played so efficiently.
Maxiell- it would take surgery to insert a few more vertebrae.
Prince- hopefully he doesn't grow roots this year.
Stuckey- looking to have a collision with greatness, but will probably just continue to be good.
Bynum- solo PG off the bench. Now he has some weapons on the floor with him (if they all have breakout years).
Middleton- the next Kevin Garnett (in Joe's dreams)

Yes, but there are many times where possessive is used in English when speaking about one's body parts but in German the simple article der/die/das is used. So I translated it imagining how an English speaker would actually use it in normal spoken English.

Indeed it is. In Sweden you hold your thumbs when you wish for something and you cross your fingers when you lie.
