Prediction: OKC in 6 games over the Pistons in the Finals. I hate to be a downer but I just don't see Detroit being able to beat the Thunder 4 outta 7 games. Depending on what happens with James Harden's contract situation, maybe we beat 'em in 2014.
Jerebko and Kravtsov contributing to their country's victories: Detroit Pistons Jonas Jerebko and Slava Kravtsov helped their teams to wins today in qualifying for the Eurobasket 2013 tournament. Jerebko had 13 points, five steals, five assists and four rebounds in 32 minutes of playing time in Sweden's 85-71 win over Bulgaria. He committed two turnovers and shot 5-for-11 from the field. Kravtsov had eight points and six rebounds as Ukraine held off Hungary, 78-76. He also had two blocks, two steals, an assist and two turnovers in 24 minutes of playing time. Sweden is now 3-2, good for second place in Group B. Ukraine is 4-1, good for second place in Group C. The top two teams in each group -- plus a handful of third-place teams -- will qualify for next year's continental championship.
Jerebko is doing great. He is alot more involved in running the offense when he plays for Team Sweden His stats this summer: Edit: Couldn't paste his stats in a readable way, use the URL. Jonas Jerebko | EuroBasket 2013
if there is one thing I learned in the last years, it is that non-NBA stats are generally meaningless/non applicable. Great players may have weak stats outside the NBA et vice versa. They do not say alot. But great to see he's having a good time out there.
Yeah, I think he played San Marino or something and I bet PF.com could put up a roster that beats those guys. KGREG at PG, Lee in a Bron role and a couple of fillers and it's a blowout.
This is what I mean by Bron role: Could The General, KGREG, Ken English + fillers put up a better record than the Bobcats? I think so.
Plus he'll have you sitting on the bench properly so you won't be having anymore blood flow issues with your legs.
That's a great point. I would have to check the rotations thread every game day morning to see where I would get my minutes that night.

Slave Kravtsov isn't putting up Jerebko numbers, but his team is doing better. Pistons' Jonas Jerebko scores 32 for Sweden in losing effort; Slava Kravtsov wins with Ukraine | Detroit Pistons | Detroit Free Press | freep.com
I forget the exact stats but we did have a 70% win rate when Jerebko took something like 8 shots and scored 10 points. I think he's an indicator of how the offense is flowing because guys are making that extra pass or drawing defenses. He's got a solid multi-faceted game but he's outmatched as a 4 defender.
In my desperation to have some sort of basketball related discussion, ...here's this: Realistic Stat Projections for Each Member of the Detroit Pistons in 2012-13 | Bleacher Report My opinions: Knight = too high Stuckey = too high Prince = about right Monroe = ok, yeah Maxiell = I don't think he'll snag this many boards. Magette = sure, ok Jerebko = Jeb needs to do better than this & I think he can. Singler = He'll be a better than this. Drummond = He needs to be spoon fed the playing time to significantly increase these numbers. ...SIGNIFICANTLY! Kravtsov = I think he'll have better numbers than JMax English = he'll do better Bynum = whatever Middleton = He's gonna wreck shop in the NBDL! Daye = I like the "best case scenario" that they have for him. Turd = Can you put up stats in street clothes?
