From time to time I need to look up a NBA rule like on the draft seating. LOL So I thought I would start a thread where forum members could ask questions to other members about NBA rules that they may have a question about. I do actually have a rules question. Does the 3 second rule on offense apply on an inbounds play? That is, can the team on offense be called for a 3 second violation if they have a player in the 3 second lane for 3 seconds on an inbounds play, if the player is in the lane for 3 seconds before the ball is passed in play?
