When into Cleveland and beat the Brons. How could this happen? Anybody know? New York Knicks NBA stats and data from 82games.com
In my opinion, when it comes to pro sports, there is so much parity that on any given night any given team can beat any given team. Even when teams run off long winning streaks ( or losing ones) each game is up for grabs most of the time. Like when you win or lose 10 in a row, there are individual games in that streak that could have gone either way. A star is off, someone is hurt, someone gets really hot, a technical foul at the wrong time, any number of things can change the complexion of a game. And that changes the length of a streak. Besides, it tears up the gamblers when it happens.
The Knicks have been surprisingly competitive on the road so far this season, 5-5. Their main problem so far is that they're 1-6 at home! But the most surprising game so far this season was Charlotte winning in San Antonio.
BerBs says luck. D4E I added that to the original post but it timed out. Cro's working on it. They are 6 and 0 when they get 20+ assist. MSG is so messed it's not player friendly.
They are learning to play as a team...which is why Starbaby is struggling, he is allergic to teamwork.
Currently Star is near the bottom in +/- let's see if he can unfunk himself. It looks like Star and Frye are the weak combo.
TFD, I can't recover what was lost. If possible, please repost it. I am the KCM, but I can't bring things back to life. :(
I'm talking hoser extraoridinary. I'm better at fixing things so you don't waste any more time trying to fix it. Anyway the Zekes come to town and let's hope they get blown out with extreme prejudice. We don't want Zeke to get too good.
The Knicks lost at home tonight to the Raptors, who came into the game with a 1-8 road record. Knicks are now 1-7 AT HOME, the worst home record in the league (every other team has at least 2 home wins). That puts them on pace for a home record of 6-35! This was the first game of a 6-game home stand for the Knicks, which looks like a very friendly one in terms of the teams coming into the Garden: Grizzlies, Wizards, Bucks, Celtics, Hawks. But having started it off by losing to the Raps, maybe the Knicks would do better just to stay on the road!
So many bad memories from last year. It's still not safe the the Knicks. I think they might come around for the Celtic and Hawk. I'm looking to see if Zeke can coach.
I wasn't kidding about MSG being hostile after last years "thing" From Fox Sports ----------------- Maybe these guys Zeke put together aren't a complete waste as LB would've had you think?
Wiz got the cure for what was ailing them on the road by playing in MSG, getting their first road win of the season. The Knicks dominated inside, 56-38 on points in the paint and 47-34 on the boards, but Gilbert and Antawn destroyed them from beyond the arc. Those two guys alone were a combined 12-17 on 3s, and they scored 71 points between them.
looks like knick fans are having a harder time than most adjusting to their team becoming soft after being probably the toughest in the league in the early 90's. we think we are disappointed to have lost our identity from 2 years ago, spare a thought for the knick fans. ok, or not.
The Zekes are slowly unfunking themselves. Beat the Bucks with another strong showing by Curry. If Zeke gets these guys into a playoff it will only prove how felonious Larry Brown was last year. Larry Brown did not attempt to win last year.
Wait and see. They will eventually unravel. Internal bickering and egos will make them abelow .500 team. Zeke's job will be saved in the final run.
