    Laimbeer.

No ifs ands or buts. Laimbeer. I realize my biases and all that...but that's who I want.

Odds of Laimbeer coaching Detroit...1 in 10. But if I owned the Pistons...given their needs...Laimbeer!

    Do I sound indecisive?

Isiah is the perfect fit for this team. He's a sure thing to get us a high pick and him being here for one year before being fired would enable Laimbeer to get another year of NBA experience in Minny, less of a mess to start sorting out and a new GM.

Joking aside, I'd be happy with Laimbeer or anyone of the more experienced guys in Adelman, JVG or Woodson. Jackson would provide some good comedy at the pressers but I guess that's about it. I'd stay away from Isiah.

Lawrence Frank is not a bad coach, but Rip and Tay will eat him for breakfast.

We need Laimbeer with 'Horn as an assistant, so when these guys get stupid, the coaches can knock them on their candy asses.

The team has been knocked on their Kuester the last few years and the recovery won't be easy unless players are moved. I agree we need a tough coach, unless we clean house. I'd bring in Laimbeer if any of the following people stay...Rip, Tay, Stuckey, Ben, or McGrady. If we clean house, than I'd bring in Van Gundy........

Young guy, former NBA head coach for 7 years and the 2010-11 season as assistant under Doc Rivers, I like it. Tay and T-Mac is almost guaranteed to be gone and if we are lucky Rip too. Dunno if I'd put him ahead of the other guys but it sounds like he's worth some consideration.

Denver Squirrels head coach Rufus Henry would also kick-ass and take names. His substance abuse issues are a concern though...

I am down with Woodson or Laims being the head coach.

If it is Woodson, then Laims, Mahorn and Big Ben should be added as the assistants to add some defensive bad boy dNA identity to this team...that is one thing..among others... that was lacking the last 2 years.

It won't be Jackson. The Warriors picked him up.

That's a grown man move by the Warriors. Mark Jacksons number is called. He will get it done.

I picked Woodson, with Jerry Hendon as special assistant in charge of fielding sexual harrassment complaints.

Yeah, glad Jackson finally got a head coaching gig...with another team. He has been overlooked the past couple of seasons and if Curry and Clueless got a shot, then Mjack definitely needed one with somebody.

No more mama there goes that Man next season.....now somebody please hire JVG.. so we don't have to listen to him on next seasons ABC broadcasts.

I'm hoping it's Woodson on the basis of his previous head coaching experience and having, at least, some degree of success with a young Atlanta team and getting them into the playoffs. And we definitely need that with our team, someone to lead and keep the people behind him in line.

Why not lure Laimbeer as assistant coach?
