Details of Woodson's player revolt? They got creamed by Orlando but don't recall players openly defying him or speaking against him publicly...did I miss something?

There are some things that are uncomfortable to know.

I hope he can send them to the minors...

Anyone else watch that Dallas game last night and wonder wistfully what it would be like if Rick Carlisle was still coaching the team?

How did Dumars go from finding Carlisle and hiring Larry Brown to letting Keuster coach for two years? Was that all Hammond?

I definitely don't second-guess actions that led to a championship. But it sure can be fun to play "what if?".

We could go make him an offer now, but I think that his market value may have risen a bit.

If Pat Riley moves fast, Eric Spoelstra could be available for the long list:)

Have heard talk today of Dwayne Casey being a serious candidate.

Current Assistant coach of the Mavs.

I think Hollinger gave him a plug in his most recent article by asking when someone will hire him as a head coach. Maybe that is what spurred the talk.

Well, we certainly have a large selection of flavors-of-the-week.

It is difficult to determine on who is giving information about selectivity. For sure, only one needs to understand what has been lacking. I have my favorites, but the longer the indecision, the more worry I have about any objectivity JD has in the selection.

Perhaps Gores is giving him the proper length of rope.

What about having some sort of tryout for coaches? Make a reality show out of it.

This is the kind of value-added idea that would allow the franchise to be more impactful moving forward.

The first challenge is calling the entire team in for an ice-cream social and the coach has to tell Rip that he's not getting any.

Really? They're going to go down the NBA coaching retread route? This really can't be how the new era starts can it?
