I think FSN Detroit should hire JVG, George Blaha then becoming the Pistons' head coach. And we'd only allow George to speak in Blaha-isms when coaching. He'd make twice as much sense as Flip.

i will not vote on this until after the playoffs are over. before the series my buddy predicted we split each homestand and enter game 5 at 2-2, then win in 6. we'll see.

my vote will change a lot depending on how the playoffs end.

The funny thing is.......Dice is the only reson we aren't down 3-1 right now. Sheed needs to bring more than 12 ppg to the table. I mean, how pathetic are those numbers? He needs to quit thinking he's the 4th option on this team. HE'S THE MOST TALENTED GUY OUT THERE ON MOST NIGHTS!!!!! If he would settle down on the block and not NEED to launch 8-10 threes a game he would be unstoppable. That turn around J is deadly!

If we get rid of anyone it should be Chauncey. It kills me to say it (he is my favorite player obviously) but for the good of the team we need to start Stuckey next year. In reality, Billups hasn't been "Big Shot" for a couple of years now. He's great during the regular season but COMPLETELY disappears the last two ECFs. He got used by Booger Gibson and so far he's looked like a scared little boy against the C's.

sheed's problem last night was the refs and the way the game was called, he was on the bench for all but 10 mins in the 2nd half, when he was in he was very effective.... and did you all catch how he was the peace maker when one of the bad calls went against maxy...

I expect him to win us a game sooner or later... actually won't be suprised if he goes off in game 5, boston has to pay more attention to dyss now and that will open up things even more...

Sheed had some really nice work down low last night. The lefty finish around KG and the aggresive lean in against Perkins (the one that fouled him out). Dyess's desire may be rubbing off on Sheed.

The Hornets need experience so we should trade Billups for CP3 straight up.

Trade Rip and a 2nd rounder to LA for Kobe.

Clippers do a sign and trade and we get Elton Brand for Dyess.

Trade our '08 1st and 2nd round picks to Miami for the #2 overall.

Sign and trade Arvis and Tay for LeBron...

(ya'll DO know that I'm kidding right?)

I live out here in Boston and when I was reading the match-up preview in all of the papers, they made Dyess sound like a dude with a broke J. I'm thinkin, my man knocks em down if you leave him open from 19 on a regular. Go ahead and keep thinkin Dyess is self guarded. He ain't no Big Ben!:pound:

They gave the advantage slightly to Kendrick Perkins!
Is that the most biased match-up preview you've ever heard of or what?!?!?:stooges:

Here's the match-up preview if you wanna see how they see it out here.
*WARNING* It may make you sick to your stomach!

Their bench advantage is dubious as well.

Would anyone here trade our bench for theirs? Didn't think so.

Flip wouldn't play their bench either. Ray, KG and PP would be longing 48 minutes per.

Yes, they claim that their bench is deeper than ours? Did I miss something?

That was in reference to the Boston Metro Match-up Preview that gives their bench the nod over ours. They also gave the edge to Kendrick Perkins over Dyess. Granted, Perkins had a great game on Wednesday night but better than Dyess? I beg to differ. Perkins wouldn't be half the player that he is if all 5 Pistons weren't so worried about KG, Pierce and Allen. Basically, he's a starter by default.

McCoskey was just on WDFN a half hour or so ago, talking to Mike Stone about the Pistons.

    Stoney asked Chris

    1. Will Flip be back if the Pistons do not make the Finals.

Chris said, Flip might not be back if the Pistons do make it to the Finals. He's heading into his 4th year and no one is talking extension. Also Mike Curry is being groomed to be the new head coach.

    2. Will Chauncey and Rip be back next season if the Pistons do not make the Finals?

Chris said, they would probably be back. Rip can't opt out of his contract until next season. He sees a 3 guard rotation of Rip, Billups and Stuckey.

    3. Will Sheed and McDyess be back if the Pistons do not make the Finals?

Chris said it's likely one of them will be gone to make room for Amir Johnson.

    4. Will Arron Afflalo get in the rotation?

Chris said, AA will not get into the rotation until he can shoot the trey bomb like Will Blalock.

Ok, I was just kidding about #4. But the first 3 are legit.

I heard that interview and I think Chris eluded to the fact that he feels that maybe BOTH Dice and Sheed will be gone.

I have zero knowledge about Curry's knowledge of basketball, but how does being a career backup 3 prepare you to coach? Wouldn't Laimbs at least be a more logical choice?

So who starts? Amir or JMax? Where's the backup 3? Sounds like Hermann is going to be here for awhile. And somewhere, somehow Joe has to find a 7 footer.
Starting 6 next year: 3 headed monster at the 1 and 2, Tay at the 3, Amir at the 4, free agent/trade pickup at the 5. JMax and Hermann main two off the bench. Are we rebuilding?
