Hey watch out with the dress quotes. I love to wear dresses and 4 inch heels, and I think I am pretty darn tough lo.
I think the fact that we lost JJ for the entire year last year makes for an interesting season this year. It is almost like we picked up a BIG this year that already has some NBA experience and is still growing. I am excited to see how the new roster shakes out. I predict: PG - Knight SG - Stuckey SF - Daye PF - Jerebko C - Monroe On opening night.
Good draft, I like the picks. Macklin is a MAN! The burning question I have........which rookie will be Lee's favorite, who doesn't play, but should play, and if they did play, we'd be a 70 win team?
Yep. This year's Sammy Meija. I just looked him up and he signed a 2 yr contract to play in Russia last week.
It'll be Macklin. No doubt. Because Knight will play, and Singler is too much like Jerebko whom Lee never warmed up to.
I envision something like: ...Why play a 40 year old Ben Wallace heavy minutes on a back to back when you have a perfectly capable Center (Macklin) sitting on the bench. Macklin has quick hands and he can guard anyone that Milwaukee can throw at us. Quite a player. or ...Our new cluless coach lost the game for us in the 3rd quarter when he put Singler in to guard Delfino. Singler is not a Small Forward. Too slow. There is no way that Sigler should have been in the game against a quick player like Delfino. Just bad coaching and bad rotations. The Pistons have a championship roster this year but if they insist on playing Singler at the SF, they'll never even make the playoffs.
That's making me nostalgic for the season. Only 16 more months until we get to see this team in action.
