Sessions is a major upgrade over old man Fisher and has far more PG instincts and abilities than Bynum. I don't see much wrong with his stats. He is averaging over 6 assists in his time with the Lakers and that's exactly what they need from him. He would only be the 5th option on offense after Kobe, Kobe, Gasol and Bynum. I would easily take Sessions at 4.2 mil over Bynum at 3.5 mil per year.
I would take 6 assists per game from anybody.............. Our assists leader gave us 3.8 assists per game......
Oh God - it was not my intention to defend Bynum. I wish we never would have gave him that contract. I was defending the position that our guys are not total crap and actually do have some trade value. Sessions avg 5.5 APG overall. If Bynum played as much as he did then I am sure he would have hit that mark as well.
Its not about numbers. Sessions runs fast, has good eyes, and makes people better. He had good range, and decent penetration. He is a good fit in a team which desperately needs youth.
How did this get started? What does Sessions have to do with the question of can Bynum be traded this summer? I know LA passed on Bynum to get Sessions
Will Bynum is in the final year of his contract. He will make $3.5 million next season. Well, their games are pretty similar. I used to mix them up all the time. Actually, Wilcox would be pretty nice beside Monroe.
I think so. Magic and Stockton combined would probably be a little gangly and uncoordinated. Though, they would tower over other PG's.
I am penciling LA in the Finals based on Sessions talents. 14.2 would have been underpaying but 4.2/yr is an absolute steal.
