Me too. I like the kidd but I just don't see the talent. I thing he could be pretty good off the bench for a championship caliber team though.
I think is enough to trade for a #5 or 6.. but in this draft I won't do it because we might get what we need at #9. About your secodn question. I would trade Knight and the #9 only for the first pick, which means, Anthony Davis. I won't trade him for Michael Kidd Gilchrist or Drummond or Robinson or Barnes.
In a week we will know if the lottery balls bounce in our way or not.. I can't wait.. I have a GOOD feeling about this! Go Pistons! Go Balls!
If anyone here believes in luck, karma, etc., now is the time for Piston fans to cash it in. Tonight is the draft lottery and more than likely it will have much more of an effect than any offseason player-run training camp could ever have. The Pistons roster situation is pretty dismal and a little good fortune in this year's draft could accelerate the re-build by as much as 2 years. So break out the rabbit's foot, lucky socks, prayers, postivive visualization, - whatever you've got! Help an old lady cross the street or do whatever you can to stockpile some good karma. I'll be watching intently to hopefully NOT hear the Pistons name called early. Go balls!
Poor MJ (sarcasm). He tanked the whole season and still came up short. Call me crazy but I still would like to see my Pistons of old play be able to get together and play against this Boston or Miami team. They wouldn't be able to tough the Spurs though. Spurs look unbeatable in a seven game series. Unfortunately the Pistons were blown up waaaaay too soon. I found myself today still shaking my head and lamenting that Darko pick. Hopefully we can get lucky with our ninth pick.
