I watched parts of the Bulls game last night.

Rose could really be for real. He doesn't look like a rookie, well other than his shooting which will come along, and the occasional complete lapse on defense, but then he was playing against Kidd.

First possession in an NBA game he dashes down the court with unearthly speed and throws a beautiful lob to Thomas, who of course being Thomas and a Bull muffs it. Next Bulls possession Hinrick throws a beautiful lob to Rose who gets fouled and can't complete the jam.

He's got incredible hops and speed, and is as good as anybody I've seen at going from full speed to a dead stop on a dime and then rising straight up for a shot.

Oden in his first game plays 20 minutes and draws fouls from 9 different players. Looked good.

Why has Darko sat out the first 2 games? Is he hurt?

I just figured that they are still trying to trade him.

I saw some highlights of their game the other day. It is really strange seeing Gasol's brother out there. He looks exactly the same from a distance.

I would rather have Darko than the Mayor. then again Brown is a lot cheaper. Get what you pay for I guess.

When you're 7'9'' tall with a 54 inch vertical leap, you're bound to strain your back sooner or later.

...Darko needs more blood flow to his back.

The Blazers are a nice team.

    Young and exciting and good.

Greg Oden, Martell Webster, Brandon Roy, Rudy Fernandez, Sergio Rodriguez, Travis Outlaw, Channing Frye, LaMarcus Aldridge, among others.

They got it good and young from the PG to C. If I wasn't a rabid Piston fan, I'd consider rooting for them, but hey, Pistons all the way.

What do you guys think about the possibility of LaMarcus Aldridge in a Pistons uniform? I saw a rumor somewhere up on hoopshype that the Blazers may be amenable to trading the big guy for a SG/SF mold. Though it's not really out in the open yet.

Hmmm, I'd hate to give up Tay really, so how about Amir and somebody else with some draft picks and Joe Dumars magic for LaMarcus Aldridge.

That would give us Chauncey, Rip, Tay, LaMarcus, and Sheed.

    Nice.....

With JMax, Afflalo, Stuck, Dyess, Herrmann, GT, Samb and Bynum.

I'd say that would make a really nice Pistons lineup doesn't it?

Now if only it would work under cap rules and Dumars figures something out.

I don't know very much about him as an owner but I really like what Paul allen does in the draft. I remember two years ago watching on draft night as Allen repeatedly flat-out purchased extra draft picks for CASH. I'm not sure which players he ended up getting with these extra picks but I remember being impressed that the owner would just open up his wallet like that in an EFFORT to make his team younger and better.

I want to see what Elton Brand can do on the Sixers. That might be a fun team to watch - I really enjoyed seeing them play against us last year.

My cuz roots for Golden State but I got a feeling that he's not going to be really happy this season with Monta Ellis being suspended for 30 games. I want to see what the Blazers, Thunder, and Dallas are going to do. For some reason, I just want to see what is going to happen with these teams.

GS is going to be fun to watch, but they are probably going to struggle being undermanned after Davis's departure.

    Yeah.
The first two debates were rather uneventful.

Especially on Golden State's half. They should be called the Golden State Hackers, if they were warriors they wouldn't have to kill you to stop you from scoring!

In a highlight videos that I've been watching, Boston looks like where they left off. Real strong, scrappy, and ready to compete for 82 games. Cleveland looks like they always have to me...The LeBron Show with other guys with Cavaliers on their chests. They lost terribly tonight to the Spurs. They just scored 70 (at least they beat us in that category). Denver is actually competing in games, well they don't count but, at least they look like they are ready to play with the rest of the NBA. Charlotte just was horrible today against Orlando; their blessed to lose by 10 points. In the first quarter they had 9 pts to Orlando's 40.
