    He has not actually come from nowhere. Poeltl arrived from his native Austria. But his rise from relatively unknown recruit to starting for the Utes to the first round of the Draft -- and possibly the top half of the first round -- was out of nowhere. His shot blocking and rebounding have attracted attention. The next step is to get stronger.
