Our coach is more relaxed. Curry spends a lot more time sitting down, and is less likely to develop a twitch or burnout like the previous coach.

Alex Acker will finally get some playing time. Or will he?

Ben Wallace has a chance at a 2nd NBA title.

    It's two thirds over.

My sphincter has not begun its annual tightening as we approach the playoffs with a 50+ win clip, an excellent chance of making it to the ECF, and little chance of getting to the finals.

I've discovered the diabolical delights of the dark side.

    1) Arnie Kander's frozen banana peel treatment is now widely accepted throughout the League.

    2) The ineptness of Michael Curry makes Gar Heard's brief coaching stint look all the better in comparison.

3a) It is now clear that we should have kept Sammy Meija.

3b) Moving banner raising ceremony in December honoring Will Blalock's 3 pointer.

    1) George "clown Krusty" Blaha has remained excited. It is understandable: for winning culture losing is freshing event in long boring winning list.
    2) Players finally have a chance to show on the court what they are not capable of.
    3) only one team can win the title. thinking that only one among from boston, cleveland, LAL and SA will get it, makes me feel very well.

    1) Our strategy to enter the playoffs as the "underdog" is working beautifully. The 8th seed is within our grasp!

    2) A lot less tension when playing teams like Cleveland and Boston. Now we can expect to lose where as before we thought we could win.

    3) Our trade with Denver has put us in a position to sign one of the coveted FAs we [STRIKE]could[/STRIKE] should have drafted instead of Darko!

    1. None of the front court players elbows will be sore from shooting too much
    2. The 24 second clock operator won't get tired from having to re-set it constantly
    3. Watching Dyess trying to catch low passes
    4. Watching Dyess and Kwame catch normal passes

1)We can feel like the fans of the Clippers or Atletico de Madrid (Spain), losing games and taking it with irony after so many years remember the family of Flip Saunders.
2)Seriously speaking, Detroit is the team that will face the terrible economic crisis in a better position this year and next, it's good for the future ...
3)This year Dumards has realized that the void is a team without a decent center, hopefully we acquired the two centers of Memphis. Finally¡¡¡¡
Dyees is not hercules, just like PF as Rasheed ...

    1) it kick starts the rebuild.
    2) development of youth for first time in recent memory.
    3) made Dumars realize that he can't run the team as puppetmaster.

    1. I like variety. MC rocks a different starting linup each and every night.

    2. Since Chauncey Billups has come back here to Denver, unemployment is down, propety values are up, crime is at an all-time low, kids are doing better in school, etc.

    3. The team isn't likely to flame-out in the ECFs again this year!

3b. With Ack out of the way, Walter Sharpe is one step closer to dressing for games which opens up the possibility that he'll fall asleep on the bench. - KEEP HOPE ALIVE!

3c. We don't have that annoying pressure of the Palace sell-out streak to contend with anymore.

3d. Trolls from places like Cleveland and Boston don't seem to care about
coming in and posting in our forum anymore.

3e. I now include applying bananas to my groin as part of my daily "maintenance".

3f. We DIDN'T trade for Tracy MacGrady.

That is so true. Problem solved.

Now Lebron can lose in the ECF and get unfairly criticized for choking.

At this rate, I will soon be down to my attention level of 2000-2001 season, just recording the games, only watching the wins, and only concentrating on our offensive plays. I maybe spent all of 15 hours on anything Piston related that season. Hmm, I think that was the year I read my first novel in spanish. That took a lot of time.

I have just read my first couple of books in German, the latest language I am studying. (The two books totalled about 50,000 words, and I read them both in a weeks time.) These two books were in 7th grade level. I still got to go back and look up a lot of vocabulary to understand everything in the stories, but hey, I understood pretty much everything going on without using a dictionary. (I had already read one 11,000 word story in 7th grade level, looking up 17 and a half pages worth of new words. I read that story 8 times in all before I could easily read it all without looking up any words.)

Prior to the 7th grade stuff, which I have been working with for four months, I spent 6 months reading 4th grade material. After about two more months on this 7th grade stuff, I plan to tackle my first book in 12th grade level.

In sum, if the Pistons keep doing this bad, it will give me plenty of time for my other hobby, studying languages.

    1) Plenty of room at the Palace to stretch out in.
    2) Not the same sense of urgency to watch every broadcast no matter what.
    3) Watching the team rebuild by playing Dyess and Sheed 40 MPG. And AI hogging the ball over Stucky.

    1. Stuckey is developing, but still needs more minutes/games.

    2. We got a future HOF'er to this team, actually caused this jersey to be legit. Not like some who make custom made jersey of their team with their favorite player (I seen them!!). (Knicks Lebron Jersey Already??)

    3. Rip showed his true feelings for Chauncey Billups.

    4. McDyess has still got it.

    5. Tickets prices are cheap according to people.

    6. Joe still kept the core somewhat. They are cheap and produce!!!

    7. Joe Dumars can't coach through a puppet. Got exposed imo.

    8. A lottery pick?

    9. We don't need a SG in 2010? We got Rip locked up.

    10. I know this was in summer, but Tay GOT A GOLD MEDAL! Has yet to make the all star game. :(

    1. CB getting it done in Denver
    2. CD getting paid in Russia
    3. DMC getting another double-double, and for the first time ever, I heard an announcer last night say Joe gave up too early on him.
