I've replaced my cynicism with fatalism.

Got tired of the same starting lineup for 2 years...now I get a new one every week.

Team tanking it on its own so joe doesn't have to make the call. The lottery: It's a team effort.

All sentient beings are created unequal. The best society provides each with equal opportunity to float at his own level.

My X-Box has yet to break this year.

My school grades are much better than they've been the past 2 years. I have absolutely no idea why.

    I've started working out again.

    1) can bring my winter coat into the palace since i can put it on the empty chair next to me instead of uncomfortably holding it on my lap

    2) $1 hot dog and popcorn nights at the palace

    3) knowing my season ticket prices will probably drop for next season

New nickname for Chauncey "The Human Economic Stimulus Package" Billups...........doesn't have the ring to it that I anticipated.

I have a feeling that stimulus package will end up like the real stimulus package. More pomp and ceremony, and less results when it matters.

The team is more INTERESTING to me.

I don't mean that they are more fun to watch or follow.

But, the last couple of years you knew who was going to play, when they would do well or poorly, and when they would bow out (in the ECF).

    I don't have a clue now.

Maybe it is like driving slowly by an auto accident. Where you look...don't look...gotta look...hope it's nothing...not good...but it IS interesting...somehow.

When you walk by an open hotel door...yeah...most of us gotta peek in...it's almost a reflex.

Following this team is interesting. Yes, we suck, but somehow, in some sick way, I feel it is better than what we had the last couple of years.

Funny as hell line in chat last night during the 4th quarter when it was evident the Pistons would once again lose under Curry:

Maybe the line of the year so far...

unfortunately to me, its all too predictable. There is no cohesion, no execution...no comments even. I end up tuning in to the 4th and watching them let games slip away.

You would think I would know how to spell "interesting".

Yes, the final results are predictable. But it's like...chaos...out there. That is interesting to me. Chaos is interesting. I'm not sure I can explain it...
