    I agree. I'm actually excited at the start of each game. I haven't been this pumped up in years. We're playing so bad now, I can't wait to see our next victory.

    There is a good chance there will be no postseason. Enjoy these games while you can, this is the last season for the remainder of the championship group. After this, it will all be memories...

    I get what you mean Tater.
    It most certainly IS chaos that we're watching each game.

    I always hated watching the team under Flip when you KNEW that with 2:30 left in the 1st, Dyess would check in for Sheed.
    ...3 minutes into the 2nd, Arvis would check in for Tay.

    ...and 6 games into the ECFs, the team would be done.

    THIS year:
    - Different starting 5 each night.
    - Guys might play major minutes OR dnpcd.
    - Pistons might miss the playoffs.
    - Pistons might put it all together and win it all! (Not a likely scenario but I guess it's possible.)

    Its funny, I love the team more now when they suck, than in the previous years when I just checked the boxscore to see the stats in our wins. Pistons going trough such a bad season made me realise just how passionate of a fan I am and how much I want this team to succede.

    1. I get to see Allen Iverson play in a Pistons jersey.
    2. Flip and his predictable meltdown are history; now we have a crapshoot every game.
    3. My list of AI haters on my "ignore" list is growing; soon I'll be able to read the forum with my previous level of enjoyment.

    a couple of seasons ago we did the countdown banner in the playoffs. That was a lot of work and everbody wanted it different. This year we probaby won't need it and i get to go :fish2: early.

    Also, i enjoy draft talk a lot and it'll be fun to see who we can get and how the offseason moves shake out.

    Pistons have been compared to the Red Wings success. Now, we can be compared to the Lions.

    With all due respect to AI, I would prefer we were still watching Chauncey B-B-B-Billups run the show. IMO, we traded the wrong dude, Dude!

    I'd say Brown = Bowman coaches that took good teams and made them champions

    Currey = ?

    We're comparing the Pistons to the LIONS here. Don't give them the credit of comparing them to the Wings. The Lions were probebly the most successful under Wayne Fontes, don't ya think? There are no championships to speak of for the Lye-downs so I'll call on the guy that got us a playoff win. Therefore, Wayne Fontes = Glory days!

    Sheed = Kitna
    Curry = Forzano
    Prince = Roy Williams
    Flip = Fontes
