I didn't see the game but based on the boxscore, Jim Leyman is up to his old tricks again of over managing and pulled Mr Jackson again after six scoreless innings.

Then the bullpen proceeds to give up 10 runs in the 7th???

ESPN will be all over this 11-0 Yankee win..........

He overmanaged a lil bit. Jack threw 114 pitches, but Leyland messed up bringing Perry into a 0-0 game!!! plus Anderson dropped a sure double play out when it was 0-0. He would have caught it and thrown out runner at palte but he overran the ball.

Bad inning for Porcello. When Willis comes back , I believe perry and Porcello need to go back to AAA for a little practice. They arent quite ready yet!

I like the way Jim is managing this year. Hit and Runs, Squeeze plays and small ball are all a part of his arsenal.

Jackson was out of gas. He was over 100 pitches and had struggled to throw strikes the inning before.

There will be changes when Willis gets back but I am thinking that Lyons and Rincon need to be removed from the pen. They are terrible.

I am O.K. with the young kids playing. There will be some growing pains but it will be well worth it if we get into the post season. Let them take their lumps now and learn from them.

The Tigers are now 4-0 on Sundays. The Pistons and Lions combined to go 4-27 on Sundays last season.:cold:

Looks like it wasn't so kind to the Wings yesterday either.

With 21 more Sundays that means that the Tigers will have at least 34 victories this year. To bad they don't do Sunday doubleheaders like they did when I was a little tyke.

Cabrerra's batting average is now 2nd in league at a hair under .400.

Also, Inge continuing to be one our best offensive weapons... and surprisingly has the most walks on the team as well as HR's (tied with CG).

Galarraga solidifying himself as our best pitcher.

Loved the line up change yesterday. Would have preferred that Granderson batted third and dopped Clete to sixth.

Our batting order needs to be changed to account for the new players on the roster. I see it this way:

    Anderson
    Polanco
    Granderson
    Cabby
    Maggs
    Inge
    Laird
    Thomas
    Everett/Santiago
