Take her out tomorrow night. Then, the Tigers will surely win.

We will do a matinée in between the Wolverine-Spartan game and the Tiger-Sox game...we'll probably come home about the 5th inning, since we plan on taking in a doubleheader at the theater. :sssh:

Hopefully I will have a :) on my face when I get home if both the Tigers and the Royals are winning.

I have a feeling this is going to a one-game playoff. And that stinkin' Metrodome will be the tenth player on the field for the Twins.

We still take this with a 2 game lead. :)

The Twins took the season series vs the Tigers...Not sure what it was but seems like it was 14-2 ...but more like 11-5 or something. Either way they get the playoff at their dome and we send the rookie Porcello out to the mound...

If they sweep the royals and we get swept, there is no playoffs...The Twinks Celebrate, the Sox lol and hopefully Leyland just gets fired..:sssh:

If we don't win the remaining two games then we fall into the Detroit can't win their last "two meaningful games of the season trap..":yellowprison:

Red Wings lost game 6 and 7 of the Cup
Pistons lost last 7 games of their season (including the 4 game sweep)
Shock lost last two games of EC finals last week.
Lions lost last 16 games of last season ...or all of them.

Royals-Twins play in the afternoon (4pm), so the Magic Number will already be just one by the time you get home.

Was Bonderman's hit in retaliation for the stealing signs episode or something else entirely?

The league takes a hard stance against pitchers beaning people AFTER the umpire has issued the warning.

agreed, but...... if the guy that gets beaned isn't even upset about (ok was upset but at his own pitcher) then i think you have to give the guy a pass....

Pretty funny to hear Young praise Bonderman for hitting him low.

Not being facetious here, but Young knocked in 4 runs yesterday and 3 today vs the Royals...so Bonderman either inspired him or didn't hit him in the right spot (arm, hand....):sssh:

I've lost faith in them. I won't shed any tears this year. If we get in, great. If not, then who cares...

Dump DD or Leyland and his crappy Pirates and Marlins buddies, the scouting department, etc.

STILL can't sell-out a game, probably because the fans can already spell out the impending doom. The Tigers know it too, as they are probably having 'Nam-like flashbacks to 2006.

It comes down to who's playing the best ball at this time... The Twins deserve it.
Anyone know where the tie breaker would be played?
