Nice work HQ. I'm not really into baseball, but your analysis posts are very interesting and thoughtful.

Excited over what? I wrote if we played at our current pace of 17-13 evvery 30 games. it's a reasonable projection.

    Random feel good stat.

Tigers are 1 of 3 teams in the American League with a winning record on the road.

If I was really excited, I would have ordered extra innings.

    I'm mildly intrigued.

Willis is toast. He can throw but he cant 'pitch' any more.

Not great stats, but I thought Willis did ok.

Lyon had no one to pitch behind him...he threw like 60+ pitches.

    Willis ...sigh...well, wait and see....

Remember my earlier post...THERE WILL BE 12 GAMES THAT WILL GO EITHER WAY FROM HERE OUT that will determine our season. Well, make us 0-1 in that department. Why Rodney couldnt go 2 -3 is beyond me. And where was Perry? because he pitched in a meaningless spot Tuesday night.

I love hating the Twins. They NEVER freekin quit!

So what about todays game?? Tigers take 5-0 lead into the seventh as JV is sailing along with 13 K's and they lose the game giving up 6 runs?

Is it the curse of Bobby Seay who blows a save last night and then gives up the winning runs today?

Here is a team that started off the week in first place and had a chance to put some distance between them and those pesky division foes in the Twins and Sox and lose all three games ...two of which they had big leads...Did Leland over manage or did our bullpen fail us again??:yellowprison:

These last two losses were painful. It's good to see Verlander getting on a roll now.

    WHERE'S YOUR rEDwING AVATAR, JABBA?

BTW, what happened to Anderson leading off and Grandy batting 5th? Leyland is definetly on dope or something. I really think he forgets what he does from one day to the next.
