    Bobby Seay is simply unhittable.

Bobby Seay, of course. Bobby can pitch all night.

Tigers pull this one out. Huge win after being down big throughout the game against the best pitcher in the league. Bullpen stinks and I can smell the stink all the way out here in Cali.

That was an awesome game last night. What a jam we got out of in the 12th(?). Bases loaded and 0 outs!

That was one of the longest games I've ever sat through.

This is what many expected from this team - strong hitting with weak bullpen.

After winning that game, Tigers lose the next one. I thought this would've been something that they could lean on, but Verlander struggled and offense didn't do much at all. Now that so-called "big win" doesn't mean jack.

Pudge struck out in his first at bat as a Yankee.

I have to admit, it's weird to see him wearing the NY uniform.

Tigers get a good start by Galarraga, then blow it late. And they get swept by the Rays. Leyland said there might be changes coming...

This loss was Leyland's. Seay was pitching great and got pulled for no reason...then Rodney blew the game as he's been prone to do lately. Stupid loss to go back under.500

I guess we expected more than this team is capable of. They are a .500 team and their bullpen stinks even with Farnsworth in there. They need to cut a couple of people lose, bring up a couple of youngsters and go after some pitching in the offseason.
Looks like Jurrjens trade took Tigers out of playoff contention. If he's in there, likely there're 5-6 more wins on the table.
Of course, you don't know this until you make that trade. Galarraga kind of made up for that, but still...

What kind of changes is he talking about? What is left to do? How did Sheffield and Thames do last night? Do we have pitching prospects to bring up? Not sure what changes he is thinking of?

Well, for one, get rid of Rodney.

I was at Yankee Stadium yesterday (for the first time) and saw Pudge play well for New York. I looked up at the out-of-town scoreboard and saw that the Tigers were up 4-1 and turned to my buddy and said, "The Tigers will find a way to lose this game, you watch."

For what? A round of peanuts for the dugout? What are you going to get for him?

Release his sorry behind! He isn't worth the roster spot they spend on him. I've read this a few times regarding him and I agree whole-heartedly, what good is 95 mph if you can't get it over the plate. HE"S our closer!!?!??!??!! See you in 09!
