It's tough in baseball to pick and MVP for a single game. Don Kelly would have won a few this year for us.

Great job by Leyland to manage to win. That might end up being very important for us.... hopefully.

Agreed, Leyland did an excellent job. It would have been hilarious if he had asked Hunter to bunt with those two guys on. That would have been the right move actually.

I was hoping Fielder would try to steal home. That would have been legendary if he just slow rumbled in and destroyed the waiting catcher.

Man, that's intense. Very unfortunate for the catcher obviously.

Rose probably bet on the outcome of that game and was seriously motivated to score.

Was on the phone for a few hours tonight while half-watching the ESPYs.

Maybe I missed it. Did ESPN recognize Cabrera's Triple Crown at any point in the show?

Another one run loss....another game where the bigs can't deliver clutch hits in the 7-9 innings. Two runners in scoring position in the 8th inning and Hunter and Miggy ground out to third.....

Oh yeah Verlander can't hold a lead.....

This appears to be a common storyline with this team. Poor play late and can't win one-run games. Verlander is 10-7. Yuck.
