If not for the 12 game roll I'd think tonight's top of the 9th unreal
It's all good when you're on top (pun intended)
yeah...but dont blame Rivera. lol.....Rodriguez 3 K's...Soriano 3 k's.....Grandy-what happened to him?
The ultimate drama would be A-Rod hitting a walk off....hopefully that doesn't happen....
My only worry is peaking too soon, just like when I was married
he was removed for defense
"I knew I'd hit my peak too soon"- Wikowski from Biloxi Blues
May I also add that the ump is brutal tonight
Torii and Dirks have combined to leave 7 runners in scoring position....
AL B NOT SURE in the game...streak over
I don't trust Al don't be sure or Phil Coke and a smile, in any games where we are not up 4+ runs.......
wild pitch...i knew it
he is gonna walk him or hit him
Or strike him out....you gotta believe
thus endeth the streak.....cant win em all...
Tigers 2 for 14 with RISP...thats why we lost....that and putting New Mexico in the game
Miggy may have been playing in to tight on that one......those blown opportunities in the first two innings did us in. Time to start another streak....
Of course it didn't help that Al2 let the first 2 guys on the base in the inning.... Did you see JL and Jeff arguing if he should take him out or not...only Benoit was left I think,,,
Yeah..just Benoit...Hunter should have ended it or at least got Miggs to the plate..BUT Tigers will lose another 20 games at least so I aint sweating it
The Indians lost too, so still 7up!!
Think about that at bat by Miggy in the 9th....if the 1st baseman had a longer arm, Miggy would have popped out and the game would have been basically over. Then Miggy beat himself up hitting balls off his shin and foot.....then he got a "wow" out of Rivera with that shot to center that should have carried us on to a momentum win.
14 LOB, 2/13 RISP ... hard to win with those stats, but if they could have held on and got to the 14th inning, then the game was ours
